    Hello.

Would an automatic flight-plan have smacked the planes into the concrete? Could a flight-plan from before the changing sky-line; from before the towers were built, have been responsible??

No. No sane approach would have an aircraft at <1000 feet over Manhattan.

    Maybe
    "sanity"
is alien to the actions taken?

Is a person who intentionally flies a plane into a mountain or a building sane?

I was arguing it was a flight-plan, not a person flying.

Sort of an irrelevant question. The question posed was - could a flight plan created at the wrong time, and flown by a careless (but well meaning) pilot, resulted in the impact?

Some Al Qaeda terrorists were responsible.

That would be incorrect, then. No sane flight plan would fly that route.

...If the skyline was different when the plan was drawn...

Didn't both aircraft that crashed into the World Trade Center leave Boston bound for Los Angeles? If so, their flight plans would take them nowhere near Manhattan,

    No.

    1) The skyline changed in 1970. In 1970 there were no autopilots that could store several 3D waypoints, which would be necessary to do what you envision.
    2) Charts (both electronic and paper) are updated very frequently; there is no way someone accidentally used a 1960's era paper chart to program a modern autopilot.
    3) There is no approach to JFK or LaGuardia that would put an aircraft at <2000 feet over Manhattan.
    4) None of the airplanes that hit the WTC were planning to land in NY.

How do you then explain the plane that flew into the Pentagon?

It was flown into the Pentagon by some Al Qaeda terrorists.

Really, what's so difficult about this point for some people?
