Omg, that's crazy. 13 hour days? I bike ride, too...it's a fun way to get a workout in. Hope you get some rest. Or just drink an espresso and hang out on SF? :=}
i managed to get another 2 hours sleep, almost 3. biking is awesome ! what i lack in sleep i make up for in insanity Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! biking helps the planet its very good more biking promotes more fitness which reduces carbon footprints for health ecology damage via machinery and mining medications and oil use for hospitals and transport. it also promotes green spaces because people don't want to bike in concrete boxes i should try and get some more sleep but my brain is still partially switched in the on position brains are funny things
While it varies from person to person it is healthy to get between 7 and 9 hours of sleep a night to function during the day. I hope you get enough sleep.
if you can save a lot of money from heart disease then you can spend that money into child hospital services to deliver a much higher long term cost to patient outcome. but not when your promoting a health care system that is completely privatized and user pays. your really expensive deaths door heart patients are your biggest earners.
Here's another riddle. This is a tricky one, so think hard. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! There are two doors and there is one guard for each door. One door leads to life and the other leads to death. You have only one question to ask and you can only ask one guard. One of the guards always tells the truth and the other always lies. What question would you ask to find out which door is the door to life?
Ask any guard which door the other guard would say leads to the door to life. Either will point to the door to death so take the other door.
1. Door 1 = +/- 1 2. Door 2 = +/- 1 3. Gaurd 1 = +/- 1 4. Gaurd 2 = +/- 1 ? 1 = +/- 1 + +/- 1 = x 4 = -/+ 1 - -/+ 1 = x ? you didnt state that you know which one lies and which one tells the truth so there for the value is unknown only that you know one of them lies and one of them tells the truth and the doors are not labelled
How to see this, RS --> The guard that tells the truth knows that the other guard would lie. So he/she tells the truth and points to the door that leads to death. The guard that lies knows that the other guard would tell the truth. So he/she lies and points to the door that leads to death. Both guards point to the death door. You then take the opposite door, that leads to life.
Indeed, and since you know before you ask the question that both will point to the door of death, you only need to ask one of them: "which door would the other guard point to as being the door of life?" Etc. You don't need to know which guard is telling the truth or lying, only that both will point to the door of death.
Preparing for a huge presentation today and feeling anxious. I’ve done this presentation [very well] a few times and my boss has been present, so why am I nervous? Not having any emotions would be very helpful right now. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
