Only people who have low self-esteem and dont know what they are looking for fall in love(and form a relationship) with the wrong person.
There is no such thing as love at first site.. maybe only a "excellent looking partner potential" at first site.
I think its also a need for affection.
I mean, who can resist someone being nice to you?Everyone needs affection.
Its like these women whos husbands beat them.....
They say...... "but i cant leave, I love him"
She needs to love herself more.
And if anyone loves themself, they will choose the right partner that ensures thier happiness!

Edit: on second thought I do not believe anyone can ensure your happiness. It is nice to think that one is dealing with the 'right' partner but the 'right' partner can quickly become the 'wrong' partner and then everyone is in deep shit
