And you seem to fit that to a "T" dmoe, particularly the handcuffed bit elsewhere.
So again, instead of your usual incoherent babbling about what can be proven, are you going to answer the question...Do you accept the scientifically logical conclusion that all this is, is another UFO sighting as defined? Or do you prefer to dodge being put on the spot?

Moderator note: This thread is temporarily closed, pending a moderator review.

The closure is to avoid the thread clogging up even more with petty personal arguments apparently imported by certain posters from some other internet forum. I notice that a couple of the people who are more interested in bickering with one another and nit-picking than in discussing the thread topic have also filed reports, basically "dobbing in" the person that irritates them. These reports will be considered.

In the meantime, I suggest that those of you who have crawled here from some other forum return and have your personal battles there instead of here. We've been through this stuff before with you guys. Remember the outcomes last time? Why do you suppose this time will be different?

I won't be able to get to this for a while. To allow people to continue to post in the thread, I am reopening it. However, if the off-topic personal bickering continues, those involved may end up with warnings. So, please think before you post.

Your full reproduction of linked article is imo really off topic, but since you think it somehow relevant, my advice to you and anyone taking it seriously is to read the comments below article. The vast majority of posters there have it basically right! He he he - most folks are smarter than hack pro-establishment journalist BSers think they are.

Sure, OK with me! Let's make a few points...[1] We can all read the papers tomorrow or watch the TV news and you can bet your short n curlies, that this will still be considered no more then a garden variety UFO, as far as garden variety UFO's go!

Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

Reasons? [1] As explained radar readings and particularly as detailed in this case can be mistaken and misinterpreted...[2] No matter how reliable any eye witness accounts are, they can still certainly be in error...[3] No matter how professional be the accounts from people, even pilots, flying in a jet air craft mistakes and misinterpretations can and are made...[3] Also as detailed in one report among the reports questioning the conclusions of some impressionable people there was reported a sub also in the area...[4] No physical evidence presented at all to conclusively rule out all other possibilities and arrive at a decision that we had an alien craft...So yes, a UFO, garden variety if you like, but a UFO with emphasis on the U.
I prefer the professionally written article thank you q-reeus, rather then the comments from any Tom, Dick or Harry...you do understand?

Belief in conspiracy theories: Basic principles of an emerging research domain:

    Abstract

In this introduction to the EJSP Special Issue on conspiracy theories as a social psychological phenomenon, we describe how this emerging research domain has developed over the past decade and distill four basic principles that characterize belief in conspiracy theories. Specifically, conspiracy theories are consequential as they have a real impact on people's health, relationships, and safety; they are universal in that belief in them is widespread across times, cultures, and social settings; they are emotional given that negative emotions and not rational deliberations cause conspiracy beliefs; and they are social as conspiracy beliefs are closely associated with psychological motivations underlying intergroup conflict. We then discuss future research and possible policy interventions in this growing area of enquiry.

Conspiracy advocates want to attack a person, group or institution. That's their goal.

The USAF defines a UFO as: "Anything that relates to any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics, or unusual features does not conform to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be identified as a familiar object." (USAF Regulation 200-2)

Just a note: USAF Regulation 200-2 dates from 1954 and has been superseded a number of times.
The last version that mentions UFOs appears to be the 2008 version of AFI 10-206 which simply states "Unidentified Flying Objects" with no definition (later revisions of that document leave out any reference to "UFOs").
The last Air Force Reg I can find that gives a definition of UFO is 80-17 (from 1966) which simply states: Unidentified Flying Objects. Any aerial phenomenon or object which is unknown or appears out of the ordinary to the observer.
I.e. there seems, to be no USAF definition of UFO at the moment, and the last one used doesn't support MR's "definition".
    He got it wrong again...

Whether it exists or not, we could learn a thing or two from it about concern for the environment.
