Not without fraud and corruption. The minority involved is too small.
And the value of the won election is radically diminished - sanity cannot be restored merely by a desire to get something done, or stave off disaster.
And have been "seeing it" for more than thirty years now.
Since the revocation of the Fairness Doctrine, and immediate rise of Rush Limbaugh et al.
Propaganda victims exist. The Republican Party is fascist - has been most your adult life - and needs enemies.

And why do Trump supporters care about that? They won.

    They don't.
That's why trying to pander to them is a waste of time and effort. They will vote as they have been voting their entire adult lives, and the major consequence of pandering will be complicity in the disasters they abet, the horrible things they do.

Fortunately, they and every one of their supposed "beliefs" are solidly in the minority - they can be beaten at the polls.

Caught a glimpse of the rally in Orlando, but didn't have the energy to watch it.

So, wouldn't the word "Trumplican" be more applicable to those on the left who are obsessed with Trump? Or would they be "Trumpets"?

It's no longer a left-right issue. This is a political - possibly existential - disaster such as America has not seen since 1863.

No, that's those female spokesbots they program to echo the the Whopper of the Day.

I watched a little of it, as I was doing something else, and he expanded on many initiatives towards the end, but I was half listening. But, probably a typical rally cry speech for him. lol

A reminder, from a lefty (that means informed) eyewitness in election year 2004 (the year that W having lied the country into ruinous war for no good reason hit the news) that the election of Trump was not an aberration, not out of character, but instead completely and fairly representative of the Republican Party as it has been since the 1980s: http://inthesetimes.com/article/979

The people on the right, not the left, are most obsessed with Trump. The word you seek is "Republican".

It is like watching some strange reality TV show. I'm glad I lived long enough to watch it. Maybe after the next election I can die with a smile on my face.

If it ends in a nuclear holocaust, I will accept responsibility.

Oh, lots of you will gleefully take credit for the bang, but nobody claims responsibility for all the whimpers in which the world really ends.

Crud, a poem. My artistic soul is feeling a bit withered tonight. I will come back to it after work and some sleep. Sorry.

The link was included only by way of crediting a source.
No need for you to read it.
Just take in the meaning of the sentence.

    Exactly.
But not really "strange" - familiar. You've been watching it for years.
That's where Trump cut his teeth in politics (learned how to do this stuff, expand his action, stay ahead of the law) - as did Reagan, in his somewhat more dignified but equally dysfunctional way.

I've also heard this term used by Republicans who refused to vote for Trump...those Republicans call other Republicans ''Trumplicans.''

How does this oh-so-reasonable-sounding schmuck not know? (but then, after you play the video, look at the company it's in!)
Nuanced view of Trumpism? His leader told supporters to go beat up political opponents and that he could shoot somebody on the street with impunity and that it's okay, if you're rich, to debase women.
That goddamn hat exists for the sole purpose of expressing a political position that includes shutting down the government over a tantrum, making caged children drink out of toilets, depriving millions of Americans of health care and threatening to blow up the entire frickin world just to get back at a former rival .
When you wear the emblem, you publicly endorse all the policies - yes, all of them, and in precisely the way they have been carried out. That's what the emblem stands for.

The fact that somebody has supported a candidate because they agreed that that candidate's policies were better overall than his opponent's policies is not synonymous with wearing that candidate's emblem, in absolute support, long after that election is over.
Trump never stopped campaigning - on his employer's time, btw - and never reconsidered his worst positions, never moderated his views. The supporter of three years ago might have been taken in. That supporter has since had ample opportunity to learn how those policies have affected people.
To continue wearing that emblem in public is to declare approval of all the harm he's done and still intends to do.
That's not nuance, that's overt assholity.
I sure wouldn't want to be seen in their company.
