Is the world otherwise perfect? I mean, the stars at night, the sun, clouds, a summer breeze, the rain and snow, trees and flowers, birds and animals, etc.

    Stupid question, I know.

Perfection is a philosophical construct with no place in reality.

    I hope not.

Imperfection is the driving force to improve.

divinity in the sublime begets serenity
God is a woman and she shows us the wonder of life through the earths many creations from creation.
life from life making new life
many various conflicting things all with beastly beauty
were it not for the harsh reality's of natures ways would we still savor tranquility and peace

Perfection (the beauty) may perfect itself. Then there is excellence (a noble prince), greatness (the star), goodness (the contentment), and okayness (the secured one). Each with a special purpose saving those things.

I believe we can find perfection in the world. A perfectly cut diamond, a perfectly drawn circle, a perfect day for a walk. But I am not sure if the world we live in is perfect if it allows for perfection within it. Perfection is also a matter of opinion.

Not suffering pain and worries would bacteria and viruses ''think'' the world or universe perfection ? Panspermia. For animals there are bad and good bacteria. Is it win win for bacteria?

I suppose that if we continually worried about all the bad stuff that could happen, we would never have time for all the good stuff that is. Bacteria probably don't worry.

Puppies and kittens get diseases with no human involvement. Sometimes humans cure them.

Exactly it's win win for bacteria. intelligence may be an evolutionary dead end.

No, I believe the mind is useful. Granted, bacteria won't sit in bed stressing over what might happen, but it also won't enjoy the benefits of discussing its own existence.

    my bold.
So, you wouldn't halt pain, suffering and stressing in the world if it took away your enjoyment in discussing existence?
