    Ok
Perhaps I should have mentioned mousterian and way outside the
paradigm/consensus/accepted range for neanderthals---(assumed from mousterian stone tool assemblage)
real science exposes the oftimes folly of paradigms and consensus opinions
most likely, only to form a new paradigm/consensus/accepted range
    same river
    different boat?

<--- not really trying to make a point
just wondering of anyone has an insight or opinion about the anomalous findings

In the long run, I suspect that the range and means of travel of the previous homo populations will continue to be revised.
The 2 listed sites have not yet accomplished that.
Perhaps this is due to the fact than no homo bones were found at those sites---just the lithic remains and butchered bones of the meals.

Personally I leave questions like this to professionals in archeology. In recent years there have been many discoveries about human species contemporary with homo sapiens in South Africa, Indonesia, and Central Asia, forcing archeologists to develop more models about evolution, etc.

Yeh, well (one of my degrees is in archaeology) the problem is that the professionals (and talented amateurs on the archaeology forums) are not in agreement on the 2 mentioned sites. Their main bone of contention is the lack of skeletal remains from the toolmakers at those sites. Add in that in a couple of other sites, early anatomically modern humans were found in association with mousterian stone culture which is normally associated with neanderthals. So, there you have it, when the people within the discipline are not in agreement I like to step outside the arena and find someone who is interested, and capable of critical thinking to venture an objective guess. Still a guess, though. but that doesn't bother me too much.

Maybe, the nest shovel full will narrow the error bars?

Frankly, I don't know enough to try to guess. I just follow what is available to the general public. I don't have access to scientific publications in this area.
