Even if someone moves at one-mile an hour, if they do it forever, they will time-travel. There's no need to travel at the speed of light. Even Turtles can time-travel.

...even if someone is born without hair, they've had their hair...cut (from their life.)

The simple answer is no !

Past and future geometrical positions are not time travel , it takes an amount of recorded history to travel by means of comparative measures such as a clock . A clock could run anti clockwise while travelling ''forward'' but the clock has no effect on the travel .

Wife dies because hubby forgot to check the brakes on the car.
Hubby builds time machine after years of work and goes back to the day before and fixes brakes.
    Wife doesn't die.
Hubby has vague feeling he should be doing something, but fuck it, the brakes are fine.

Please provide the relevant quote or reference.

Nobody can travel at the speed of light.

Define time travel, as you're using that term.

You are posting in one of our Science subforums. You need to do better than to spam the thread with pointless fluff. If you can't do that, maybe go and play in the pseudoscience sandpit with the other kids, and leave the adults to talk about the science. Okay?

Welcome to sciforums. You are posting in one of our Science subforums, where we expect that statements can be backed up with appropriate evidence or argument upon request.

Please explain how and why any clock would run "anti clockwise", assuming it is working correctly. Provide relevant references and or discussion of the relevant scientific principles. Otherwise, please refer to the previous post.

Do you mind if I explain this using relativity and basic physics ?

Two people sit opposite each other on a train , between them on the carriage table sits a glass clock .

Observer one observers the clock tick clockwise

Observer two observes the clock tick anti clockwise

    DEMO:

    Observer 1 >clock< observer 2

That should be simple enough for you all to understand , you can even spin a bicycle wheel between two observers if you want to see this in real life .

One views left and one views right , that is objective relativity . The same applies to toilets and flushing , in Australia the flush cycle doesn't rotate the opposite way to the other side of the world .

    Soooooo

Observer one observers the clock tick clockwise - using the instrument in a correct manner

Observer two observes the clock tick anti clockwise - using the instrument in a incorrect manner

That should be simple enough for even you to understand

The correct manor of use would be argumentatively subjective !

I'm sure you are aware of simultaneity of events and what one observer observes is not necessarily what another observer observes . Quite clearly an observer who only considered their manner of use would be incomplete in thinking , in not considering the second observers manner of use and thinking !
I think it is apparently obvious that the relativity of the train carriage scenario is a duality of time measured, relative to the simultaneity of the event .

I think what you are looking for is TRUTH

As in both are telling the truth in their description of their observations and one is not more truthful than the other

But the situation has nothing to do with time travel

Speaking of the flush cycle, Oblivionspace is no longer with us.

What I find even stranger than the clock, is that the image has no file extension, like png or jpg. Is the matrix broken or something?
