    My mistake!

It was the Brooklyn Papyrus, not the Boston Papyrus.

    Sorry!

The entire Exodus Route as described in the Bible can be viewed in Google Earth. And some of the larger on the ground objects can also be seen in Google Earth. Satellite imagery in Google Earth can only take you down so far down in detail, because the resolution is not high enough to go further. Google Earth is a tool, used to see the massive scale of the Exodus Account across multiple countries.

The order of events given in the Exodus Account can be studied and confirmed by the lay of the land, or in other words, by the study of the Geography in Google Earth at a basic level and also by the study of the physical evidence on the ground at the Sites.

Geographer Glen Fritz has completed a 20 year study of the Exodus Account.

On the ground photos I have, show the details at each Site, and match the Exodus Account descriptions, in my opinion at least, exactly.

There are also local traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation at some of the locations that can be considered.

In the Exodus Bible Account there are certain supernatural events described, like the Parting of the Red Sea, the Presence of God on the Mountain, and a few other events, which may not be likely or even possible to occur with only natural processes.

So if there is real evidence for some of these supernatural events and for some of the other events, that could be considered to be evidence both for the accuracy of the Biblical Account and also for the existence of God. That could be evidence that God has intervened in human history, in Space/Time.

In my opinion evidence for some of these supernatural events exist on the ground today. You are free to disagree and that is just fine.

You have to decide for yourself.

    It is your choice!

    Best Wishes!

Don't underestimate the religious fundamentalists. There are huge numbers of believers who tell us that the bible is to be taken quite literally. SetiAlpha6 may well be one of them.

There'll doubtless be a lot of local pastors who will tell you that the bible is literally true. I'm not sure what the Pope's position is. It might depend on which bible story you're talking about.

All you're doing is asserting. Present the evidence so we can discuss it. And don't just throw a thousand "examples" at us. Pick one, like the historical existence of Moses, and discuss that one in depth.

Thank you for showing me that.

Here is an article that discusses the document I was trying to refer to.

    https://apxaioc.com/article/hebrews-egypt-exodus-evidence-papyrus-brooklyn

It shows up in the article down the page a bit. It is also referred to in the film “Patterns of Evidence: Exodus” and in other sources as well.

The Papyrus shows Hebrew names in an Egyptian slave list, unless I am a nutcase? Which is possible!

Please decide, if I am a nutcase for yourself.

    Best Regards.

If nothing created life and its fate is death it ruins the inertia of nothingness, thus its pointless to say our mortal life and nature can't exist between always before and ever after in heaven. As if the love we fall for is all we get. Like a circle, it repeats the same thing forever. Thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil.

Any claim that there is no evidence for the Exodus Account, as stated in Wikipedia and in numerous other sources, is False.

    1. The ancient Egyptian Papyrus Brooklyn 35.1446 provides evidence for the Exodus. The Egyptian document lists Hebrew slave names at the time period of the Exodus.

    https://apxaioc.com/article/hebrews-egypt-exodus-evidence-papyrus-brooklyn

The claim that there is no evidence for the Exodus, is False if only one piece of evidence exists.

Has anyone made a claim that there is no evidence? Or simply that there is no sufficiently reliable evidence?
Because it would be foolish to claim the first.
Like it would be impossible to refute the second.

Unfortunately, I have seen both claims on the Web and in this forum.

And I agree with your very astute observations about them. Well said, thank you!

More Egyptian document evidence in favor of the reality of the Exodus Account.

    2. The Plagues of the Exodus Account were described from an Egyptian perspective in “The Admonitions of Ipuwer” Papyrus.

This ancient Egyptian account seems to describe some of the acts of Moses, some of the Plagues that he witnessed, and even the extent that Egypt was devastated by them.

This appears to be an eye witness account of the Exodus events from a hostile source in antiquity.

Perhaps, kind of along these lines...

Herbert Spencer said: "There is a principle, which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a person in everlasting ignorance – that principle is contempt prior to investigation."

And Karl Giberson adds, "Our imaginations pose curious limitations on our search for truth. Often it seems impossible that something could be the case, not because the evidence is not there, but because the intellectual machinery to get our minds around the problem seems to be missing."

I am certainly guilty of both of these at times!

    Best Regards!

The fact there were not many evidences, but instead the same assertions every other apologetic spouts about what they believe.

Wow, you really hate it when people use reason on your bald faced assertions.

I asked you a simple question based on your response, then showed you using reason that your claim was spurious and instead of answering the question, you decided to insult me. Is that how good, upstanding, moral, intelligent Christians behave?
