Time is not a thing , its a concept though . So it has no effect , affect nor cause on anything . Time can not change the form of anything . Because time is not a thing .

Reincarnation for some is about learning from your past .

Matter and Anti-matter lasts forever .

All forms of energy and matter and antimatter recycle . All their forms grow and discintigrate , From Galaxies to the sub-atomics .

Matter does not last forever, River. For example, as I traversed, I held certain things in my mind, until I reached the beginning. Those things had already happened. If you tell someone what to do, that message traverses the family tree, and they get told that. You cannot kill someone for killing: that's hypocrisy, but if you kill someone, I will stop my own heart, and that's you! We're not invincible. The moment people decide to punch me over the brick wall, they have a heart attack, in space.

Please make certain, River, that you never kill anyone. I don't doubt you anyway. x

Time is as real as space and is the means by which the intervals between sequential events are measured and both exist as a four dimensional framework against which we locate events etc within GR. The question is of course is time fundamental. Proof of the pudding of course is that space and time are two sides of the same coin and are interchangeable.

Sorry river, that was bullshit before, and nothing has changed. Matter and anti matter annihilate.
The question really is are we matter or anti matter? I mean if the tiny excess after the original annhilation was actually anti matter, we would be calling that anti matter, matter, and matter, anti matter.

How does that work when an external observer sees a body approaching a black hole?

I have read (perhaps in garblese) that for that observer time will appear to slow for that body.

Does that mean that that body will also appear to be larger and that ,as its time coordinate shrinks its spatial coordinates expand?

Unless this is off topic in the context of River leaving us or returning

Briefly [as this is river's goodbye/Hullo thread] an external observer watching a body approaching a BH, will certainly see time gradually slowing, and will see the body also further and further red shifted, until beyond the viewing capacity of the external observer. The body from the external perspective, is never seen to cross the EH of the BH, but just as valid, the body most certainly from its own persepctive, will cross the EH, and continue on a one-way path to the singularity.
With my comment on the interchangeability of space and time, briefly again, what one external observer may see as time, another will see as space. Space cannot exist without time, and vice versa.

But hey! Start a thread and discuss...Much I'm still not aware of and/or uncertain about.

I'm sorry that TheFrogger has decided to pollute your goodbye thread with his nonsense mathematics. He has received another warning.

Too many numbers and drinking the bong water I suspect.

But it's great to read you are ok river I always find your posts.

I have read (perhaps in garblese) that for that observer time will appear to slow for that body. Time Does change for those on the ISS.

Its relative to your position to that body . Appearance is the key .

But to the body , to its self , it never changes form ; it never shrinks and/or expands .

No worries , but if you want to delve into it deeper , then start a thread !

Indeed start a thread pad . And one where I can contribute posts .

Explain how this is even possible . pad

What? You really are back, before you even left.

And just when I thought it was safe to remove you from my Ignore list, too. Oh well, back to the status quo ante, then, I suppose.

    Here's the thing about antimatter and matter ;

Its about polarity . In the youtube video , " The Matter of Antimatter " , matter is positive antimatter is negative .

    That's it .

Now think about why would both necessarily ; " annihilate each other .
