Well yes I would as I am craving personal satisfaction just all the time and really would do absolutely anything to satisfy my rampant self serving ego, but I certainly think it is a behaviour that no one would expect from the President of The United States of America nor would anyone consider such behaviour acceptable in any way at all.

That is a good place to start..I hate liars, in fact I really think lieing should be a capital offence.

Hmmmm unfortunate is perhaps being too kind.

I knew he had some ability in politics...

Now this is all that I really wanted to see...the inclusion of "his administration"...I think only accusing Trump of wrongs takes attention away from the fact it is after all the Republican party ... Trump has a cult following who , as he once boasted, will forgive him of anything and so to I suspect a large degree these cult members turn off when anyone says their man is wrong..they are attacking him because he beat them etc..blaming him won't get very far but those same stupid people really resent "any god damn administration" not doing the right thing.

Yes but I really think the big problem is the voters...I don't like to judge folk from afar but I get the impression they pretty much represent everything I dislike in a person...religious nutters carrying guns and bibles who don't want a decent health program so them Mexicans, Black People and White Trash don't get free stuff using "My taxes"...I know a huge generalisation but I often wonder just how many of the nutters I think of are in the USA.

Well on this point I think he is not alone.

    He and his administration.

Too late. The borders are closed and I'm pretty sure they'll stay closed for the duration of this crisis. Unless you're a shipment of cabbages or rubber gloves, stay on your side.

Trump is in charge of his administration and they do as he commands. The buck, as they say, starts and stops with him. He has made sure to promote the fact that he is calling all the shots.

Secondly, no one, I repeat, no one, should bow down to the most stupid in society to try to assuage their feelings.

His failures, his ignorance, his surrounding himself with sycophants cost people their lives. He should be blamed.

    Okay..?

    And?

The question that must now be asked is why you are suggesting that blaming Trump would be bad or ineffective as those very voters simply won't listen or they might double down? Why should society cater to those voters, the ones you describe as being "nutters", by not laying the blame where it deserves and should be placed - right at Trump's feet?

Those nutters, as you describe them, won't be voting Democrat anyway.

    Just him.

He is in charge of his administration and he directs them. They cater to him. At the end, the buck literally does stop with Trump.

Sure I get it...but he merely represents a distasteful group..the fact that he got in is my beef..the fact that so many saw him as a good idea..that to me is what really sucks.

I find that so hard to accept, and sadly I think you are almost certainly correct, but I find it sad that the self proclaimed leader of democracy in the world is in fact a dictatorship.

The major reason Trump is still the odds on favorite to win - or at least keep his office - in November:
    https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Az2dRtJa...sg6DfgCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/GetYourElectionOn3.jpg

Remember: He just needs to keep it close enough to steal.

If he gets back in - winning the electoral vote by fraud, say, as he did in 2016 - he will continue to do what he and essentially every other Republican office holder has been doing for the past forty years, only with more consequences for the nation overall (stuff that has been in the pipeline until now will emerge).

    Specifically:

He is likely to finish off the Post Office, a longstanding goal of the Republican Party since Reagan took power.

He is likely to wreck Social Security and Medicare, another longstanding Republican goal since Reagan.

He is likely to succeed in one of his many attempts to wreck Obamacare, or Romneycare as some lefties refer to it, using the medical insurance industry's financial ruining of the US for justification.

He is likely to start a war of his own or intensify the one he has going with Iran et al (war contracting under Republican administrations has been very profitable in this generation - it doesn't need to involve actual military campaigns). Examples of targets: Mexico; Venezuela; Philippines (after the revolt).

He is likely to alter the US legal system to support persecution of those who criticize him or the Republican Party on major media platforms, as well as non-white people generally - expanding the ICE preliminary model to include greater use of police and National Guard and mercenary paramilitary forces within the US ( the current network of concentration and detention camps expanded while further undermining civil liberties and Constitutional rights to handle the reds, browns, and blacks; greater use of show trials and bogus interpretations of law to persecute any well known public figures whose praise of their President is insufficient). All Republican Presidents beginning with Nixon have attempted that.

He will attempt to abolish the income tax - a long time Republican goal.

This is a Republican presidency. The mass graves of a viral plague will not deflect it from its nature. http://www.aesopfables.com/cgi/aesop1.cgi?4&TheScorpionandtheFrog

You left out one major thing... The Supreme Court would likely be 7-2 by the end of another Trump term. That should be enough to scare any fence sitter into voting Biden.

If the use of executive orders is the mark of a dictator, then we have had several.
    and
Trump is way down on the list of number of executive orders issued.
The last president to use fewer executive orders was Grover Cleveland

He probably means everyone who has guns and believes they have final authority on what the law is and who gets to enforce it.

Just cause I'm a cracker means I dont want to riot. Maybe some peaceful demonstration with passive faith.

Yep. He is a giant middle finger to everything and everyone. His deplorables think he's not giving them the finger but he is.

It is not. A president who tries to make law via executive order is at least trying to stay within the guidelines of the Constitution. Someone who calls the Constitution "phony" and simply uses the justice department to do his bidding is far closer to the title of dictator.

apparently, they're all 'too radical', 'inexperienced' or 'hot-headed' and 'unelectable' - even the old ones!

Specifically, born rich old white men. Americans' willingness and openness to embracing the born rich has always confounded me. Even more confounding--that a born rich, piece of shit, serial rapist like Trump actually understands this. You really don't need to know anything, really, about Hunter Biden, to know with absolute certainty that he's simply another entitled, born rich, piece of shit like his daddy.

The same could have been said of every elected Republican president since Nixon. Trump is the least competent of them - the one who is calling the fewest shots personally. He simply doesn't know enough, or care to learn, about his administration. He not only doesn't know who to hire, he doesn't know what jobs he needs to hire for. He doesn't know how the Federal government works. He doesn't know who to command, or what to command them to do, and he isn't capable of learning if he wanted to.

He didn't choose Barr for AG, for example - the Party honchos set him up with advisors he could get along with, and they provided him with a couple of alternatives and a strong recommendation. He didn't know Pence from a newel post - the Party provided. He had no idea who should be in his Cabinet or appointed to head various agencies - again, the Party provided. He has probably written none of his executive orders, or read any but a couple. He delegates almost his entire job, essentially, and makes a few sales calls and photo ops and publicity appearances. Like all con men, he's in sales - not production.

That's been his life pattern. In his reality TV show, for example, he didn't make the decisions of whom to fire. The people running the show did.

The Republican Party is currently trying to confine the blame for this latest Republican disaster of an administration to Trump. That's how they kept it together, kept the core of their gains in power, after the feckless W and evil Cheney presided over Partisan disaster. If the country gets fooled again, it will lose yet another opportunity to turn back - maybe even begin to defeat - the fascist movement that is bidding to take over governance of the US. Each new loss to that movement has been heavier than the last.

Mitch McConnell has probably done more long term and irreparable damage domestically than Trump, for example. While Trump tweets from his toilet and abets viral plague along with his headlines, Mitch has been packing the Federal courts with lifetime appointments of middle aged and younger Federalist Society goons and fundamentalist whackjobs. If we can't break the Republican hold on the Senate, if we can't break the Republican Party's hold on the Supreme Court and the Federal courts, if we can't break the Republican Party's hold on the State governments, if we can't further reduce the Republican Party's influence in the House, there isn't much a mere President can do domestically except roadblock the worst of the crazy.

    Trump=Republican, Republican=Trump.
