Despite my misgivings from a few months ago, I voted today. The voting process in person seems much more organized, and I wonder if much of that has to do with Covid precautions and guidelines. It just seemed hectic and disorganized last election. (at my voter precinct, anyway)

So my fellow Americans...have you voted, yet?

I would've felt ...possibly regretful, maybe even ashamed, if I didn't vote at all. A few of my friends aren't voting...they said ''I just can't in good conscience.'' My take is, there will never be a flawless candidate...there will never be a candidate that you entirely agree with, on all fronts...there will never be a candidate that stands for all people...so, it'll never be an ideal situation.

But, we're given this precious right, so...just do it.

That's good. As long as your friends do not whinge and whine when the USA starts going down the gurgler because of the possibility of a certain moron getting back in. They have also forfeited that right.
From the position of the rest of the world, one of the candidates is far better, reasonable, honest, truthful then the other, who appears to lack all of these qualities.
Speaking as an outsider of course, from a country where voting is compulsory...

Agree. I’ve been thinking about all the things Trump could have done differently (better) over the past six months in response to Covid. Many people hated Trump before Covid but I think that the pandemic was/is the ultimate game-changer for many voters. (especially undecideds/fence-sitters)

Perhaps, something to mention to your friends is that physicians and medical experts at the most prestigious center in the US have openly stated that the current administration is "Dangerously Incompetent", might help to sway their conscience.

Yep. I suspect Trump would have been ahead at this point if he had reacted competently to the pandemic.

Conserving violence is like constipated crap, and secular law is like taking advice from monkeys. Religion and science are better together even though it seems impossible you can have both. Anti-establishment independent pacifist' ftw!
