Interesting. TIL that Narcissism does mean what I thought. I know someone who is absolutely self-obsessed - unable to think or talk about anyone or anything but himself - think hypochondriac mixed with Munchausen's syndrome. But he sure doesn't have an inflated opinion of himself. Quite the opposite, in fact. He worries and gnashes about how terrible he is. Imagine a dozen or two dozen calls a day about 'I had a smoke and a drink, am I terrible?' By the above definition, he is not a Narcissist.
