i like that comment by ? howard storm
    sounds like howard stern
how the American audiences like to have all the names that sound the same
    so they class assign value
thats a whole different thread subject

    Dear Dennis
do you wish to solve a spiritual problem ?
    or a physical problem ?
    or an operational problem ?

do you think business culture defines its self on equal access to food ?
    obviously not

business wants ever increasing disparity between rich and poor so it can constantly grow its margin to increase its profit
this is the base ideological doctrine around supply & demand economic social engineering

ask yourself some real physical object questions
things with real physical outcomes as answers so you can see & touch them
how much money is donated every year in the usa to church groups ?

how much would it cost to feed house & pay for medical for the poor & homeless in the usa ?

lots less than is donated to church groups

so are you suggesting that spiritual question needs solving ?
in theory all those people think its already been solved
so in real hard answers and questions your flogging a dead horse & then giving it a new name.

    do you want change
or a placebo personal gratification effect ?

steps forward must be logical and secured
the team win aspect of ethereal ego seeks to pretend that everyone is running forward together always
    thats simply not true

    as some say
where rubber meets the road(where real action defines real change or the walk is done to support the talk)

the opposing political "spectrum" declare climate change is a "hoax"

so we are talking "hoax" and thus intention to scam
as opposed to conceding science conjecture.
    its all about the ego(religion)

soo you can play and pretend to offer as many hard science real facts and evidence as you like
they will continue to claim it is all a hoax

was the moon landing a hoax ?
is climate change a hoax ?
    what is globalization ?

If that [somebody explained their concerns and desires to somebody who almost died] were true, which it could be, it would have no such [might just gain a larger percentage of agreement from across the political spectrum] effect, even if such an effect [resorting to hitherto unexplored technologies to produce food] resulted in an effort to feed more of the far too many humans already polluting the planet, which it probably wouldn't, it would still be irrelevant to the devastating effect of desalinating oceans, which is what you put in the OP, not some guy visiting with his ancestors.

I like what Dr. Tejman stated on this topic as well.

Some people said that same thing about Nikola Tesla!

    And your point?
Granted, Tesla did make a fair number of contributions, but he was also a nutcase (especially in later life).
Tejman, however... he may be/ have been good as an MD but as a scientist talking about the universe etc he's nothing but a nutcase. All of his "theory" is so bad it's not even wrong.

I believe that you are incorrect about his ideas probably because you have not read anywhere nearly as much by him as I have.

And that belief would be incorrect.
I've read the pages that you linked to. That's more than sufficient to see that he's a nutcase.

Thank you for reading those...I read most of the pages on his website and I think that he did the best job on many aspects of this topic of any writer than I have found so far.

    The best job?
Like I said - not even wrong.

This general idea was addressed in chapter thirteen of Stephen Hawking's Universe as well as by Chaim Tejman M. D. but not by all that many others that I know about so far..... with the exception of some webpages on NDE accounts.

I'll try to get hold of a copy, but I strongly suspect you've misinterpreted it.
It's irrelevant that Tejman "addressed" it since he's so utterly wrong.

You could be correct.... it often takes me several readings over a number of years to see through some of my own errors.

Here are a couple of videos that give me hope that deserts, in theory, could be turned green at surprisingly low cost. This is solar powered desalination at work.

I wish to address several huge problems all at the same time......
and I do believe that solutions like the following are win - win - win - win - win as opposed to win vs lose.

Whereas a Carbon Tax or cap and trade system tends to divide us politically...... turning deserts green is a down to earth idea that most of us can agree on to at least some extent.
