God is the relationship between mind and matter.

This relationship exists in a dimension 90 degrees to the material world, a dimension of mind. This can be accessed through dreams and other even more limited means.

There is "our" consciousness and then there is the real consciousness that exists within matter and the cosmos. This link is the relationship referred to in the definition. A meta-language is needed to couple languages with their universes as explained in the paper entitled, The Meta-formal System: Completing the Theory of Language by Christopher Michael Langan (just google it). It is a major breakthrough in how to create artificial consciousness.

Thankfully, as someone who is not influenced by evil, and does not fall for the atheistic ignorance told by those on the brink of extinction, I can honestly say that I am rather content. Not that I'm a theist, a more accurate term would be Metaphysical scientist.

And to end with yet another of my profound revolutionary thoughts:

Reality is self-perceptual, therefore consciousness can and does exist outside of the body.

    Thank you.

    Second cousins?
    Drivel.
Crap. (And Langan is a nutcase).
An even more accurate term would be "deluded".

    More crap.

Here's a story we were told by a physics professor:

A grad student was given the opportunity to speak to a symposium of physicists on the subject, "What is an electron?" He did his research and carefully wrote his speech.

On the big day, as he showered, shaved and dressed, he rehearsed, "An electron is a concept that has changed over time from the plum-pudding model to Bohr's orbit model to the quantum-mechanical model...."

On the way to the university, he rehearsed, "An electron is a concept that has changed over time from the plum-pudding model to Bohr's orbit model to the quantum-mechanical model...."

As he was waiting to be intruduced, he rehearsed, "An electron is a concept that has changed over time from the plum-pudding model to Bohr's orbit model to the quantum-mechanical model...."

Finally, he stood before the auditorium filled with eminent physicists and he said, "An electron is a concept...." - and his mind went completely blank.

    The silence was deafening.

Then one audience member stood up and began to clap, then another, then another. He got a standing ovation.

The moral of the story is: sometimes you gotta quit while you're ahead.

    Interesting.
I have always favored Planck's "eine intelligente kraft noch ewige kraft gibt"

Parallelism. Where a deity was regarded as the mediator between the two or the prior-in-rank source of their synchronization. Dates back to the 17th century, or far earlier if construing it as a conception of an Islamic theologian.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychophysical_parallelism#History

Contrast to supervenience, where the association may be brute (no origin) and potentially even anomalous in terms of predictive principles.

So no test tubes and bad smelly chemicals?

No equipment to detect and make measurements of stuff?

In fact no work to do except sit and think

    How is the pay?

    Fascinating. I agree with it.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. - John 1:5.

    Thank you.
