Seems like the same concept as a horoscope. Slap some generic feel good words together that most people would like to believe about themselves. I got Openness, and while I am indeed willing to learn every day, I have no particular need to go and be friendly with everyone. It's just a feelgood quiz to rake in the clicks.

Openness. i think it just means you went for random word-associations, rather than obsessing over one subject. Second time, i was deliberately projecting an insecure materialist and it called me an extrovert, because it thought my answers were funny. It's cute, but it ain't psychology.
About 26 yeras ago when i worked for sombody else... wit no explanation they started givin us tests to fill out.!!! The third test was to have a partner guide you while you was blindfolded thru a mind field of mouse an rat traps.!!! One day my supervisor came an told me it was time for me to do the trap test an i said i wasnt gonna do it... an he said its manditory... everbody has to do it... an i said "ant gonna hapen"... after a pause he said... oK... i will tell the Boss/owner... an thats the last i ever herd of it... LOL.!!! I got Kindness too. I don't think that's very accurate. And the test is too obnoxious with all the ads to keep taking it over and over till I get a result I like.
It was a fad. Seems to be back with a vengeance. Managers buy everything that promises to make them "more effective leaders" - every year, there's a new book; from time to time, it's 'team-building exercises'; personality and aptitude tests are perennial favourites. It's a $2B industry.
After my good supervisor got pizzed about all the results bein made public he got bumped to a warehouse inventory type job an quit a few mounths later.!!! His replacement dug right in an after goin thru mounths of reports he found the answer to one of our bigest quality control prollems an cheerfully came over to tell me about it... an i told him yes... we have known the answr for about 15 years but managment wont corect it cause it woud be to expensive... he looked a bit dejected an that was the last time we spoke about bidness... an a couple of mounths after that i ask to take my 2 weeks vacation right thru Chrismas/new-year an he said no way... we are real busy an nobody gets off more than 3 days for the hollidays... we kept disucssin for about 20 minutes an he finaly said... sounds you'r gonna take off no mater what i say... i said well i dont realy wanna put it like that... an he said oK... have a nice vacation an i said thanks an never went back Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
