Good luck then. Unvaccinated have a significantly higher odds of hospitalization and death than vaccinated. Hope you make it.

It does both, of course. It does slightly more to protect others than it does to protect you, but of course it is a good idea for both reasons.
We don't have better masks than N95's. (At least, not that are available to an average person.)

I think I already made it. No more chilli sensations, no more body pressure or pain, my appetite has returned and I have had a delicious Lomo Saltado a few moments ago. Coffing is very sporadic. Same with the family member who brought the virus to our house. He also feels much better and he is not vaccinated.

Actually in my house no one has been vacinated.

Since the virus appeared, it took me two weeks to realize COVID 19 was a weak virus. By the early reports one can see the victimes were old people in their majority. Other reports showed Italy and Spain with no discrimination about age, but in those countries people smoke more than Chinese vendor in banckrupty.
Other reports like Brazil included children and when you visit Brazil, the areas not suggested for tourism, you can see the poverty in so many cities.

Also, many early reports of people having the virus but not showing symptoms, this includes areport from a navy ship.

In other words, it was telling clearly the virus will give hard times to people with health conditions, and low symptoms or none to healthy people.

I'm not cheering victory yet, but as far as I feel, the worst is over and now is just to accomplish my isolation for a few more days.

Thanks fort he advice, but I feel much much better now. I finally can lift the gallon bottle of tea ha ha ha ha ha

Truly, it was a bad experience but not a horrible one for me. In my case it has been like between a cold and the flu, because the low fever and pain in all the body. I lost all will to do things, to wake up, even eating. I made myself a pot with green spaghetti three days ago, and I had to trash it because I rejected the idea of eating it. It was like feeling to vomit or similar.

Yesterday night I opted to change things, A good shower, changing bed sheets, shaving, and going back to sleep... it made me feel great. Today I beel better.

Lomo saltado is a popular, traditional Peruvian dish, a stir fry that typically combines marinated strips of sirloin with onions, tomatoes, french fries, and other ingredients; and is typically served with rice. The dish originated as part of the chifa tradition, the Chinese cuisine of Peru, though its popularity has made it part of the mainstream culture.

Nothing to fake here. I still have stuffed nose, some coffing, pain in junctions, but this pain I think is because I have stayed in bed for long periods of time.

I already has passed half way to reach the 70 years of age, and I stand with my position, that the COVID 19 and consequent mutations won't cause much trouble to healthy people. Let people with concerns about their health to get vaccinated, such is their will.

The way I was rose up, I'll prefer to coinfront this virus "like a man", face to face, and so far my immune system moving to one side the bottom of its jacket showing its gun just told the virus: "This body is too small for both of us, one of us has to go..."

I see the virus walking away in disguise, kicking empty cans along the way, looking for another victim somewhere.

He sounds like a very unkind individual. Why sort of sicko would teach his grandson to tease someone with mental limitations. I hope you told him, to go to hell.

On the contrary, I thank him a lot, because applying his advice works great with you.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Healthy and in their 30s, Christina and Josh Tidmore figured they were low-risk for COVID-19. With conflicting viewpoints about whether to get vaccinated against the virus filling their social media feeds and social circles, they decided to wait.

On July 20, Josh came home from work with a slight cough initially thought to be sinus trouble. On Aug. 11, he died of COVID-19 at a north Alabama hospital as Christina Tidmore witnessed a doctor and her team frantically try to resuscitate her husband.

“She would say, ‘I need a pulse. ‘I would hear, ‘no pulse,’ “Christina Tidmore said through tears. “They were trying so hard.”

“Nobody should go through this. He was only 36 and I’m 35 and we have three kids.”

She is now imploring young adults not to dismiss the risk and to consider getting vaccinated.

“Josh was completely healthy, active, not a smoker,” she said. He would have turned 37 on Saturday.

The life and tragic death of John Eyers – a fitness fanatic who refused the vaccine

    Sirin Kale
    The Guardian

It was 11 June 2021. Jenny McCann sat in the garden of her home in north London with her twin brother, John Eyers. . .She can’t remember how the argument about the Covid vaccine started. “John started saying really crazy things that didn’t make sense,” she says. “About how people were only getting the vaccine for free McDonald’s, and there was formaldehyde in it.” The rest of the family remonstrated with him, pulling out their phones to factcheck what he was saying. But John was unmoving. “He kept saying: ‘I won’t be a guinea pig.’”

There was only one other difficult moment, when the family went to a local health club. John refused to wear a mask. “I said: ‘John, put your face mask on,’” Jenny remembers. “‘He said: ‘You aren’t my mother – don’t tell me what to do.’” . . .

“John mentioned to me once that one of his beliefs was that we shouldn’t live in a climate of fear around Covid,” says Jenny. “If you were young and fit and well, you’d be fine.”

John tested positive for Covid on 29 June. By 3 July, he was seriously unwell. Amy, the woman who had recently become his girlfriend, had to force him to call 911 for help. Later that day, he was taken to Southport & Ormskirk hospital by ambulance. He left a voice message for his family.

“It is the worst voice note I have ever heard in my life,” says Jonathan. “I burst out crying halfway through it.” The voice note is a minute and a half long. In that time, John speaks about 12 words. “I will never send it to anyone, but if anyone questioned whether Covid is real, I would play it to them,” says Jonathan. “It is the worst thing in the world. I can hear the fear in him. He is literally gasping for air. This is someone I knew who could run 10k or climb a mountain without struggling.”

On the morning of 27 July, John’s family got the call they had been dreading . . . they ran into his room. It was full of ICU staff, all in tears. John had just died. Jenny’s stepdad collapsed to the floor. Her mum was wailing. “The matron grabbed my mum and was holding her,” says Jenny. “Everyone was crying. The consultant was crying. All the staff were crying. Because he was so young. And they couldn’t save him.”

Think you are healthier than this triathlete?

Like I said, you were lucky. Don't waste that luck. Get vaccinated.
And thanks to you, the virus will find a few more, perhaps kill them.

    Congratulations, I guess.

Beer... you are bad... you are bad...

Some years ago, going back to my car in a parking lot, I saw to big dudes watching their truck with the hood up. They were still standing 10 feet form their vehicle. I was curious and I appoached them and asking what was going on, they told me a little squirrel was inside the engine, under the brake drum. Those dudes were very afraid.

I gave a look and yes indeed, there it was the little creature hidding inside the engine. I compared the size of those two big fellows with that little squirrel and I remember I told them: Both of you are a pair of sissies.

I went to one side of the parking lot to the area with grass and trees and pick up a long tree branch about a yard long. I returned back to the truck and with the stick I started to bother the little animal. That little thing became more dangerous than Godzilla, it destroyed the tip of the branch and made so much noise like an invasion of apes. The little squirrel pulled with force the tree branch from my hand and I jumped back afraid that little beast might do the same with me next.

And there we were, for about twenty more minutes... three sissies in silence watching from far away that truck engine.

Athletes, sport people and fitness dudes usually take lots of additives in order to help them be "healthy".

    If you didn't know.

In many cases their good health is questionable.
