Ummmm yes I have seen that behaviour reported in articles also

Perhaps a latent inbred jene making a late appearance?

Thought feeling knackered WAS feeling tired

Who wouldn't feel knackered (as well as having been knackered) fighting to prevent the operation from occurring?

    Corflute

Corrugated plastic or corriboard – also known under the tradenames of Cartonplast, Polyflute, Coroplast, FlutePlast, IntePro, Proplex, Correx, Twinplast, Corriflute or Corflute – refers to a wide range of extruded twinwall plastic-sheet products produced from high-impact polypropylene resin with a similar make-up to corrugated fiberboard

    Potable

    From late Middle English:
    from French potable,
    from late Latin potabilis,
    from Latin potare ‘to drink’.

    Sign states NON POTABLE WATER

I'd be more interested in what it was, not what it isn't

Most people use Tap Water when talking about water from their faucets. Drinking water as a general term for any water that is drinkable. The real confusion is Potable Water. Potable water is used more by a technical person working in the water field, and means any water that is okay to drink and use for cooking.

    Above - Google

Saw similar sign Darwin Hospital outside over a tap close to where people wait for transport taxis etc. Seems like people were still using the water as drinking water because the handle had been removed and now requires a key handle to use

But what's with the POTABLE. As above potable used more in technical manner so why, in a non technical region a plain sign reading DO NOT DRINK THIS WATER with picture of cup under red circle with diagonal line?

NON POTABLE to me sounds like you can't put it in a pot

When has "Do not do X" stopped people from doing X (when it's not a law)?

If you want people to not drink something, tell them it's not drinkable.

    True

Had a case where a small plastic bottle of concentrated eye wash solution was clearly marked DO NOT USE TO FLUSH EYES was used by a character to flush his eyes

It was first supposed to be diluted in a Emergency Eye Wash Station where the diluted eye wash was in the station

The Emergency Eye Wash Station was not connected to water supply only having the fluid in its own reservoir body

My guess he obtained the solution from stores before it was delivered to me. My single bottle was locked in my medication room

    Nociception

From NT News newspaper 7 July 2022

    Do insects feel pain?

SCIENTISTS say insects probably feel pain because they “most likely” have central nervous control of nociception (the detection of painful stimuli).

The team looked at previous behavioural, molecular and anatomical neuroscience evidence to reach their conclusions.

As discussions of insect farming ramp up in response to climate change and food shortages, including a UN recommendation to farm insects, the scientists warn that existing animal welfare protections tend not to cover insects.

    Nociception

    From Wikipedia

Nociception is the sensory nervous system's process of encoding noxious stimuli. It deals with a series of events and processes required for an organism to receive a painful stimulus, convert it to a molecular signal, and recognize and characterize the signal in order to trigger an appropriate defense response. They could use it for patients in hospital with a risk of constipation.

If served in the form of a circular "meal" it would require less supervision inasmuch as it would be "self digesting" or "self ingesting"

Out one hole and in the other.(and vice versa)

I think we may have a candidate on this thread,if the technology has reached Blissed out Bali.

A Roman Centurion walks into a bar: "I'll have a martinus, please."
Bartender: "Don't you mean a martini?"
Centurion: "If I wanted more than one I would have ordered more than one."
