Not for a while, the DNA is so badly degraded and there is no viable cells or gamete tissue. It would require a act of Biorobotics: the DNA would have to be sequenced then corrected digitally then printed on a yet-to-exist high speed, cheap, accurate DNA synthesizer, then implanted in a hosted cell and cloned. Since this kind of technology is not cheap nor even exists yet (in the cause of High speed DNA synthesizer) this is not going to happen for at least several decades… unless then can extract or revive living cell tissue, which I think is very unlikely.
There have been resent attempts to create a clone of the Tasmanian tiger (extinct marsupial carnivore) from a 100year old preserved cub. Unfortunately the DNA was to badly damaged. Last I heard they had given up. I think it would be easier to reveres engineer an elephant to look like a Mammoth then to create a mammoth from a few degraded bits of DNA. We would certainly not release it back to the wild and to the casual zoo visitor they don’t really care what it is.
Even if you can't get the original genes for the creture you can allways alter its closest living relatives genes so that it looks and acts like the extinct species in every way. Close enough.
Thanks for the link, I've been wondering at thier progress, but haven't heard about it in a while. Too bad bacterial DNA synthesis is the top of the line.
