When you sleep, your body paralyzes (i think it's spelt wrong, but oh well) itself.

Have either/both of these ever happened to you? :-

    - Have you ever stayed awake, but lay in bed, you hear strange noises (ears shutting down) and body goes dead

    - Have you ever woken up and realize body is dead and can only move eyes and jaw. no vocal sound is possible.

    I find this wierd...

not me but my uncle has had that happen more than once ....
he has the same experience you describe and when he has tried to wake his wife he finds that she is in a similarly drugged state (this is the times he can still move of course) and impossible to arouse. then if i remember his stories correctly he will completely lose conciousness until the next morning.

    Sleep/Wake paralysis.

I had this sleep-waking paralysis( can't think of a better description title for it.) when I was a teen ager growing up. It was a very frightening experience for me then. At the time I spoke to no one about it, even to my parents. Just too fearful to speak of it, let alone try to describe it with adequite words. Growing into adulthood, I outgrew it. Never had it since, thank heavens. When having this experience, I was totally awake, but could not move, just only my eyes. It seemed this only happened when I was lying on my back, face up.

It would take some very long minutes in this state to be finally able to move. Most always I was sweating very badly when I came out of it, really exhausted at times.

No demon possession my friend. Perfectly normal boy growing up, and normal surroundings. No "spookity's" happening either. I think too much is blamed on the devil as it is.
