    I remember you.

I know someone who is hardcore punk fan. Bands like "The Queers" "Justinsane" and many others with similar punk names. Never got into that music myself with an exception of some of Greenday songs...I hear Greenday is despised now due to their mainstream stature.

Justin Sane is the singer of my favorite band, Anti-Flag.

as for Green Day being hated for their "mainstream" status, only people who take things way too seriously think that way. What a band sounds like and stands for is way more important than how much money they make and how wide their audience is.

Attitude like that is why i'm losing punk rock street-cred.

Oh yeah...Anti-flag....my friend raves about this band. I never understood the obsession myself but then again most don't get my Incubus fantasism (is that a word?).

I am not opposed to listening to the exploited, minor threat, black flag, adolescents, the ramones and some other bands of that age of punk. That is, punk rock, for me, scratches that itch sometimes ya know?

I don't listen to it all the time, my punk collection is fairly small compared to the rest of my music, but I do listen to it, and sometimes that's the only thing I would want to listen to.
