I have the game, gave up due to frustration of not having check points at crucial points and the fact : rest of the party being one step above complete and utter retards. I saw the movies..Argorn and Gimli didn't stand there and scratch their ass while Legolas got his ass kicked by flaming arows.

Yup, if you ever play the game you'll notice that. You can be getting the floor wiped with you by a midget orc while the other two members will stab air or just share a beer with fellow orcs (ok so they don't exactly share a beer but I exaggerate for effect).

Apprently the producers of the game decided that one pudgey hobbit should take on 18 orcs and the other two should come along to watch the massacre.

The lack of checj points also is a pain since the levels are so huge that it could be minutes before you reach a safe point.

That is such a hard game. A lot of levels took many many tries for me, but it's a hella lot of fun. Never did pass the last level though. Btw, if you keep dieing just do non-stop fast attacks and the enemy won't get a hit in. Kinda cheap, but some times there is little choice.

    yeah i agree it's a big challenge...
i'm a big proponent of the mash the keypad method, which my roommates always say is cheating, but i don't think so.
i don't have the full version yet, just the demo...are they the same difficulty level? i really wanna see what happens in the end.

mmm cheerios. i'm going to look for a box with this in it but only because i love cheerios.

i wanted to buy the game but the playstation belongs to my dad and it might be hard to get him to give it up long enough for me to play a game.

you could get it for PC, since the demo's PC, and then your dad could have the playstation to himself.
tell me what you think of it!

    yeah good point...
that's why demos are so awesome.
it only took me a couple minutes with the demo for me to see that this was an awesome game...cause i've definitely bought some duds before, and they ain't cheap.
