Mandelbrot Set

    The Mandelbrot(sp?) set, right?

    So.. if it's infinitely complex, does it mean that it contains all the information in the universe?

    Or not?

    When you say "infinitely complex", how are you measuring complexity?

    it has infinite resolution for sure, but so do a lot of mathmatical functions.

    the set of real numbers between 3 and 4 is infinite, but doesn't contain all the information in the universe.

    I wonder if the maximum amount of information that the universe can hold has an upper bound?

    well, another question is whether the measurement of the universe is actually discrete. if it is indivisible beyond a certain level, and there happens to be a common divisor in the mass/energy of indivisible particle(s), maybe the universe is finite
