Adam died along time ago, thank Xev for that. Anyway, I just read an article in the Daily Express and it says that they're making new Adult Happy Meals which come with pamphlets urging people to walk. Prolly to order more food but what the hell. It's just FUBAR. What do I care, I can't stand eating paper so I don't go anywhere near Maccy D's
This is a step in the right direction by the food service industry but it is no substitute for personal responsibility.
I would think that Adult Happy Meals would be more effective if they had adult themes. Maybe they could throw in a cock ring and some KY. Now that would boost sales. Urge people to walk....why not urge them to have sex? It burns more calories.
well in this age of health concious people (take me for example), it is an excellent marketing move to help people see a better side to McDonalds and all fast food for that matter.
Bars eventually cut you off... why not McDonalds? I'd rather have a drunk guy sitting next to me in the train then a fat guy sitting partially ON me in the train,
Princess took the words out of my mouth. Sure, it might be McDonald's way of safeguarding itself from lawsuits, but the removal of "super size" meals are definitely a step in the right direction.
Yes, indeed! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! :bugeye: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Well if they can do that I will be applying for a job there Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Ma'am: First loose 200 pounds then we'll see if I can give you a burger Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I second that. Maybe they should be forced to sit in first class, where the seats are bigger? This was always my pet gripe with airlines. I weigh 160lbs. A few lbs over my baggage allowance and I have to pay extra. Some 300lb lardbucket doesn't have top pay extra for their flab, so why should I pay for my snowboard?
Well that's how it should be, they use the 2 seats so they have to pay for them Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! do they also get 2 meals on the flight then?
Mcdonalds chicken nuggets are 0.02% chicken, 99% water, and 0.98% bread. The mcdonalds slgan should be (instead of Im lovin it) It tastes like s**t
Communist Hamster - "the mcdonalds slgan should be (instead of Im lovin it) It tastes like s**t" Come on, we can think of a better slogan than that. How about..."I'm Lovin' It...I don't know what IT is, but I'm lovin' it"
Diet advice from MacDonalds is just weird. MacDonalds have been feeding people their over fat filled foods with ridiculous salt and sugar levels for decades and to all of a sudden turn round and start telling people to eat healthier and excercise more is a confused message, firstly because they are continuing to sell their fatty, salty and sugary food range. Secondly, their new healthy range is more expensive to buy than their old menu, at least it was the last time I was in and that was a while ago - I eat in MacDonalds on a rare basis, as I know that its bad for your health and dont want to get addicted to that kind of food. If they really had good intentions at heart they would close themselves down because they way I see it, the only thing the sell that isnt bad for your health is their new healthy eating range. You go into MacDonalds to eat burgers, not eat expensive healthy food thats of fast food style quality. You would go somewhere else, such as Subway or the Upper Crust (?) I think what we are witnessing here is MacDonalds trying desperately to still compete in the compeditive fast food market and trying to adapt their products to the new attitude towards health that wasnt about when they were thriving. The last I heard, they were ready for going burst. Once in awhile its ok to eat in these type of food chain but not on a regular basis, thats just asking for a heart attack and i certainly wouldnt bring up kids on a diet of MacDonalds as Ive seen people do. Its still unhealthy, but the wolf is trying to make you think its got sheeps clothing on - if that makes much sense. Cheers.
