    A little bit of political artwork... since I'm "jaded" and all that...

    and my opinion with it. I did it a while ago, with a much more interesting look, however for the sake of simplicity I did a quick version in HTML and am now putting it here.

    The purpose of the thread is just to know what shock you. You'll get my opinion at the bottom.

    I don't think it's a bad idea for a thread Jadedflower, although I wish yours was a bit easier to read. Nevertheless I would say unprovoked violence shocks me - I have no understanding at all why people are violent. I know that people get provoked for different reasons but I still can't fathom physical harm being done on someone.

    As for aliens, I'm curious as to why they shock you Blazin Billy? Is it because of what they might look like? or what they might do to us? Curious.

    Aleins. my biggest fear. I suppose you could trace it back to my childhood when I was watching a alien show and I was so scared I cryed, I ran to my mom but she was too busy on the phone and ignored me. But thats probably not it.

    Another approach would be my fear of a superiour race. I like to think of humans as the ultimate species, but if aliens can flying to distant planets, props to them.

    Also they way they look. Im talking about the long big-headed grey ones. Not the little martians, I can kick thier asses anyday.

    why, i mean, why come all this way just to probe people? why not enslave the entire human race or do something interesting....

    I don't agree with the ignorance thing Spurious. We both know there are all ages and levels of education on these boards, and I for one have learned a few things from reading the posts, so calling someone ignorant would probably dissuade a shy type of person from posting for fear of being ridiculed. Unless I'm misinterpreting what type of ignorance you're referring to, you might want to elaborate for me?

    Hearing about the murder of a friend (a most unlikely murder victim) recently, was the most shocking thing since watching the atrocities of 9/11 live on TV.

    Sept. 11th did...
    but now, I think I'm "vacinated", it's a wound that was opened time and time again and now it's only a scar.

    What shock me: Israel's actions and the US' unconditional support.
    That disgusts me.

    I like it Jade...what does the original look like? Is the "ing" from "nothing" and the "s", "ck" and "g" from "shocking" left uncoloured for a reason or is it a mistake?

    Is it supposed to say both of these at the same time or am I just reading to much into it?
