10/7/01 11:25pm - 11:40pm I was up in the Ortega Mountains, in Lake Elsinore, CA, sky watching with my girlfriend again. We see this strange, dim red light that was slowly moving in the sky. We drive to a more remote location to check it out. A few minutes pass and this dim light is performing circles and zig zags at a fast rate! It disappears after 5 minutes of moving about and reappears in another location in the sky. It disappears again and another light, it might've been the same one, reappears closer to us and is coming right towards us fast! Out of extreme fear, we jump in the car and I'm driving like a maniac trying to get away as fast as I could! As I look back, risking a serious car accident, I could see that this object was close enough to see three white lights- I couldn't tell what formation that craft was. We must've escaped just in the nick of time because after we got on the main highway down the mountain, the object was out of sight. That was the scariest thing we've ever been apart of and now my girlfreind is no longer a UFO skeptic.
