i think that this book was written only to clarify the qu'ran but we muslims did not like it the truth often hurts you can see i'm not happy some of us are logical but most are stupid
it's just a book i didn't read it, but if it got the fundies upset then it must've had some truth in it btw, the guy who issued the death-fatwa in absentia against the writer of the book has also published his own books on such subjects as sex with animals (dead and alive), sex with little boys and girls, infidelity, menstruation, etc. i troll you not
The Satanic verses are supposivly a series of verses left out the Quran when the Angel Gabril came to Muhammed and told him he had been deceived by Satan. I'm uncertain of the validity of this, however, and if all the evidence used in the book is the Qur'an, I'm not too sure how a substantial case will be made.
