Honestly, these are just some questions I would like answered by a Muslim. I don't pretend to know a great deal about religion in general, and Islam even less, so I would like my curiosity satisfied, if you can.
None of these questions are designed to be antagonistical or sarcastic and if they come across that way then I apologise.

1-- What would happen to a Muslim if he ate a bacon sandwich?

2-- And what if that Muslim was a woman?

3-- What do Muslims think about 9/11? Was it satisfying to see 3000 innocent civillians (my fiancee included) die when the towers fell?

4-- What happens when a Muslim wants to convert to Chrstianity?

5-- Are Muslims allowed to give blood?

6-- Do Muslims believe in the existence of dinosaurs? And if not, how do they explain fossils, etc.?

7-- When do Muslims think the world is going to end? (Most religions have a rough date/occurence for the end of days).

8-- If America and Israel went to war, (hypothetically, of course), what side would you, as a Muslim, cheer for?

9-- Where is Osama Bin Laden? (Worth a shot...)

10-- How does Abu Hamza wipe his arse? Does he have a follower do it for him? If so, how did the follower get that cracker (no pun intended) of a job (again, no pun intended). How do you put something like that on your CV?

11-- When a Muslim dies defending the name of Islam, etc., they go to Paradise and are rewarded with 70 virgins. Is this correct? And if so, what will you do with the women after you've screwed them all? After all, they're only virgins until you nail them, right?

12-- What do female suicide bombers get rewarded with?

13-- Does anyone know how I can get a little picture next to my name?

I would love to have some scripture-free responses to these questions.
I really do appologise if my ignorance shows through in any of these questions but, as I said, I have nothing more than a passing curiosity in religion.

I think religion will be the undoing of us all.

    Proud Flemster.

Nothing really. The same thing that would happen to a Hindu if he ate a beef Steak. The Quran and the bible both forbid eating the flesh of the swine. There are many reasons for the prohibition. A person should only do things that they believe in and going againest one's believe must have strong reasoning or the conscious may start acting up. As far as what god would do? Who knows, god's mercy is infinite and noone knows exactly the criteria that god will use to judge the individuals.

I don't see the point of your question. I'm a muslim woman and I do as I wish. I did as I wished when I was back in Egypt, and I still do as I wish now in the States.

What do you mean by satisfying? Are you nuts or something. It would only take an ice cold series murderer to feel any satisfaction out of death....I personally felt very sad, many muslims died in the towers and their families are as tormented as you for your loss. I know the first thing that came to my mind was shock and I prayed for the victims so much. The next thing that came to my mind was not anger like you...but was a wish to god that whoever did this horrible act not be remotely related to any minority group or Islam. I didn't want to see further victimization.

Religion is between the individual and god...It's private. A person can do as they wish within their heart...only god can read the hearts of people.

Muslims are to use their common sense in doing anything. There is no concrete list of dos and don'ts.....There are some guidelines in the Quran and with each guidelines, there are many exception mentioned and after each guidelines, god reminds us he is all forgiving most mercifull.
There is no guidelines even in the Quran about giving blood. I think that saving other people life is important to me and to my god, so I donate blood.

Muslims are very open in these issues. We don't have rediculous restrictions in the Quran that say that this earth is only 6000 years old. We are told in the Quran that our universe have a life of 18.5 billion years. We are encourged to study and we told that there are many unknown things that surround us....So a muslim wouldn't be surprised if they found aliens, dinasours, or for all you're concerned a flying elephant.

Muslims don't know the exact day of judgement. The knowledge is only with god according to the Quran.

Regardless of parties involved, I always support justice. I pick the right side when I offer support. I also support the underdog and the weak in any situation. It doesn't take very advanced math to figure out who is the underdog weak party in this conflict.

Who the heck knows and who the heck cares....If you tried to hunt every single pissed off person on this earth, we would run out of arrows. Bin Laden is a pissed off crazy guy who managed to equate if not put himself above Bush. Bin Laden is not a person, he's an ideology.

believers, that being muslims, christian, jews, ect....were get rewarded later...Noone knows the exact nature of the reward, and the Quran have never mentioned the 70 virgins issue. Actually the word virgin was not used, the word pure was used to describe companions and these companions could be males or females.

A muslim should never die defending the name of Islam or Allah. Allah is very capable of defending himself and his religion. A good muslim dies will fighting for his/her principles...unselfish principles that are done in the name of the creator. I don't expect you to understand the subtle difference between fighting for one's believes and a majority religion....but it's a big difference.

I don't think anyone that does anything sincere in this life, does it out of the reward. People die out of principle, and that's the biggest a person can achieve, to die for what they believed in.

Religion is not a common high or low denominator..Religion is a private relationship between a person and his/her god. What works for you, may not work for me. You'll never believe as I do and I'll never believe as you do. For you is to keep your religion, and let me have mine.

The answers here depends on the type of muslim who answers it. Majority of muslims are sunnis, and then shias. Others all together constitute a very tiny fragment.

    About the question:
It would be best to ask those muslims themselves who converted to christianity. Here....

    www.apostatesofislam.com

    those people are very friendly.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. It is very refreshing to receive a non-hate filled reply from a Muslim, even when some of my questions were, let's say, less than serious.
    Honestly, thanks again!

Flores' take on Islam is very similar to my take on Christianity. It is between me and my God, I am committed to my principles although I am well aware that God does not need me but rather the reverse and I would prefer see no wars, no terror attacks and even, if we could ever manage it, no crime.

    Well done Flores.

That depends on why he eat it.
    006.145
YUSUFALI: Say: "I find not in the message received by me by inspiration any (meat) forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be dead meat, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine,- for it is an abomination - or, what is impious, (meat) on which a name has been invoked, other than Allah's". But (even so), if a person is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- thy Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

    *************
M*W: Disclaimer: I am not Muslim nor am I Christian or a member of any other organized religion.
    1) If a Muslim were to eat a bacon sandwich, he would get severe indigestion. Grease is not healthy. Bread has a high carbohydrate content. A BLT is just not healthy for anyone of anya religion.
    2) If the Muslim who ate the BLT is a woman, she has a different serious risk. The more estrogen a person has, the more fat they store. The Muslim woman is at risk for high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol.
    3) No. It was a horrible experience for Muslims. The majority of Muslims had absolutely no part in this terroristic act. They grieved, and they apologized to their Christian friends. They were truly penitentant. What happened at 9/11 tragically injured the good heart of the Muslims.
    3) Muslims are not proud of what a specific few specific Islamic terrorists did. They denounce their actions.
    4) When a Muslim wants to convert to Christianity, why should there be a problem? Christianity is the biggest lie ever told! There is truth to Islam.
    5) Muslims have been shedding blood since the Crusades. Why should they donate any more? The blood of Islam is sacred. The blood of Israel cannot atone for the blood of Islam.
    6) Dinosaurs? I cannot answer this. I cannot speak for Islam. Dinosaurs existed a long time before Christianity or Islam. Dinosaurs existed during evolution. Their existence has absolutelly NOTHING to do with Christian, Islam or Israeli existence.
    7) Again, I cannot answer for Islam. Personally, I believe there will be NO end to humanity only additional evolution.
    8) If America and Israel were at war, what side would I take? I would not take the Israeli side because of its corruptness. I would not take the Muslim side, because I don't know enough about the association between Israel and Islamic. I would definitely NOT TAKE A CHRISTIAN STANDPOINT, because Christianity is the most evil religion of all.
    8) Where is Osama bin Laden? I wish I knew. He's being protected by the Government of Pakistan. He's not dead, yet. Special Forces into Afghanistan caves would reveal his existence.
    9) They all wipe their arse with their left hand--the side of the Devil.
    10) The Muslims greet 70 virgins when they enter heaven. Christians greed 70 Virginians when they enter heaven. Those virgins are: Thomas Jefferson, John Jay, Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, James Madison, James Monroe, George Washington, John Adams, etc. It wouldn't be pretty!
    11) Suicide bombers, male or female, don't get much of anything except 15 minutes of fame.
    12) Christianity will soon die. Protestantism is already dead in the water. Islam is still recruiting. You do the math!

Erm... I thought you were a staunch Muslim. It certainly sounds like it here.
Not that that matters, of course...!

Well said and answered Flores! If only more believers (of any religion) thought like you, we'd see a lot less of what we're seeing in the world today. Well done!

There are truths & lies in both christianity & islam. Its the severity of the lie that defines the danger in Islam & Christianity. Try comparing the Islamic societies with the christianic societies today to determine which religion to avoid. If you like the Islamic society then I suggest you apply for Immigration to Saudi Arabia. You cant get more islamic than that.

    Everyone's blood is precious.

Medieval Christianity. Modern Christianity is practically harmless. You can tell that by the nations populated by christians.

Dr. No sunnis and Shiahs have different political views which then stem into minor differences because if the validaty of the Caliphates.

they are the SAME religion and are not different. the majority of the problems of shias and sunnis are due to politics and favoursim in leaders etc.

    1. Nothing because it is the persons choice if they want to or not "there is no compulsion in religion). but on the day of judgement, that person will be accountable.

    2. doesnt make a differnce

i understand why the people did it, but i dont agree with it and it brought Muslim countires a lot of harm rather then good.

and it was sickening not satisfying seeing 3,000 die. anyone who finds pleasure in 3,000 suvillians dead is not Muslim.

instead of talking about the extremists who did the act, why doesnt anyone talk about the Muslims who gave their lives to save people in 9/11.

the attack on the Pentagon was much more justifiable

People still died. A lot of them innocent workers and support staff.
Preacher X, there is no justification for murdering someone by flying a plane into them. And what about the passengers on the plane?
What had they done to deserve death?
Apart from not embrace your mad religion.
