There are a couple websites that I visit that offer free web lectures via REALPLAYER, and I can listen to them online, but I cannot SAVE them to my computer so that I can burn them to CD and listen to them in my car - because REALPLAYER doesn't give me the option to save them...

Is there a way I can get these lectures on my hardrave so I don't have to access the net to listen to them despite the fact that REALPLAYER doesn't let me save them?

maybe there is a way that you can capture it somehow. Maybe you can do a Google search for a program that can play Real files and capture them while it's playing.

oh, here, I found what yuo were looking for: http://emoney.al.ru/capture-streaming-video-and-audio/

    I hope it helps.

The monkey proof but time eating method to record all audio streams is using Goldwave. Set the recordsettings to "stereo mix". Check the output level, and then record while the song is streaming. Downsides: 1/ it takes the time to play it to record it. 2/ALL sounds are recorded. Make sure no new mail or MSN contacts come online, mute the mic.
