I heard that epistaxis, or nosebleed, can sometimes occur spontaneously, is this true? if so, how?

my nose bleeds spontaneously, but no one's ever given a name for it. the doctors all said that it's simply hereditary...but they never said what. i've had my nose cortorized twice, but it still bleeds. the reasonS? i don't know, i don't pick my nose, i don't get into fights or anything where anyone could punch my nose, i don't have high blood pressure...i don't know.
