OMG here we go with that desert contries again Tony. I thought we had already visited that, along with how we justifiably killed all the savages who do not believe in the KJV Bible.

Well I guess the church leaders were then justified in killing Jesus since it was their overwhellming moral majority opinion that He was a savage and blasphemed the word of God too.

Just because you claim to be a man or men of God doesn't mean everything you do in the name of God is justified by God. Ask Moses! Jesus said to live in peace with all when ever possible. If you've never used them, I'd say you're not qualified to advise another person not to. After all, you have no experiential base upon which to build your point.

But I ask you this question: When an infidel looks at your presentation and sees the ravings of a threadbare, screaming, destitute, insane soul, why would that infidel wish your malady onto their own self?

In the end, if all you've got are baseless declarations and bigoted cheerleading? Did it ever occur to you that nobody cares whether or not the primordial ooze blesses America or not? The need to identify with such a psychotic surrogate-parent figure as the Christian God really is quite unique. Most people with spiritual compulsions follow them toward a more hopeful vision of peace. Christians, however, seem to follow their souls toward bigoted supremacy and irrelevance. Loone: We don't care about such stupid things. Come on, man: a God that blesses us so we can be as incoherent and supremacist as you? So that we can be as vain and assuming as Tony1? So we can be as mean as KalvinB?

You know, it's a hard enough thing for most people to deal with those aspects of themselves that aren't reflective of their highest aspirations. I sincerely don't understand why you'd want us to take on a God that despises those aspirations. It isn't enough in the world to be good to yourself and others; apparently, the way to God is to be a semi-literate cutthroat whose best charity is traded for redemption.

I mean, point number one doesn't even have to regard your Tourette tantrums. It could, instead, look to the fact that you subscribe to a religion that anxiously and hopefully awaits the end of the world. Right there is a big candy-light buzzer that tells me there's something fishy afin. By the time it gets to these ridiculous ejaculations of your faith, we're seriously wondering whether, well, not so much whether or not Christianity is worth it, per se, but rather whether or not beating oneself in the head isn't a quicker, easier road to the equivalent human condition.

You ought to try making some sort of literate sense, Loone. Short of that, you ought to consider what it is you hope to accomplish with your posts; really, if you're out to be a pointless pain in the ass, you might consider skipping it entirely. I mean, really, What Would Jesus Do? Isn't that the current fab-phrase? Or did Christians eventually evolve past that one? Really, though: save yourself the time and just skip it until you have something to say; I truly think you'll achieve greater good for the Glory of God if you just chill out and stop making Christianity that much less desirable.

Hang on a bit. We do need Loone to rant on the way he does so that others can indeed see his lunacy. He is by far the best ally atheists have around here. His rantings are so way out that no one in their right minds would choose to follow his lead.

But I did mention your idea to him quite some weeks ago, e.g. the fact that he was probably pushing people away from his wondrous god by his antics, and then I noticed he disappeared for some time. I thought for a while that my advice had been heard and understood. But then here he is again.

Of course you realize that Christians are meant to go out and spread the word, and I’m sure he knows this. I wonder how he is dealing with the paradox. I must spread the word to bring people to god but if I spread the word it sends people away from god.

That could drive someone mad, oops he already is, so I guess he doesn’t care that’s why he is back.

Sir Loone, nothing in the universe suggests God's existance enough for me to require there be one.
