A big problem with finding out medical uses for these things is that it's very hard to get the permission (in the US) to do the research. Cocaine- numbs the nerves, good for dentistry, relieves fatigue, treats opiate overdose Marijuana- many medical uses, relieving pain, nausea, stimulating appetite in chemo patients, glaucoma, anxiety, autism, expectorant Crack Cocaine- just a smokable, pure form of cocaine, no medical use I can think of Opium- pain reliever, treats cocaine overdose Heroin- same uses as opium LSD-some initial studies show its use in treating alcoholism XTC- useful in psychological counceling, therapy EPHEDRINE- legal, decongestant It's not just addicts, but regular people with medical needs.
