I have read Rushtons works, as well as 'the bell curve'. It was a long learning experience for me because at first I was tempted to think it's just some hate speach. But it’s not. It’s just that the media is ridiculously sensitive to information that might contradict prevailing political values – i.e egalitarianism and multiculturalism, and so ignorantlyscreams 'racist racist racist’ , and of course all the hordes of lemmings join in and before you know it a book is discredited before it actually gets read. Nobody can convince m that race is not deterministic of ability when it’s so empirically obvious that it is. Just watch the 100m final at the Olympics. And of course it is reasonable to assume that certain races might have intellectual differences as well. This offends many people, but avoiding the truth is not going to get us anywhere. People get offended because they think that if we admit racial differences we are going to suddenly become Nazi Germany all over again. I think that’s a little paranoid. Ability (sporting/intellectual whatever) does not and should not affect human rights. We aren’t going to start saying ‘oh negros are inferior, let’s send them back to Africa now”.

Many people have already done and publish books on how dumb they believe white males are, but any talk or writing that portrays blacks in ANY kind of negitive light true or not is against the law in the U.S.

 

Ever thought of the environment? Sub-saharian Africa is really not a great place to develop high culture standards. The mayan empire might have collapsed due to climate change for example.

 

Their are so many theory's on why blacks behaviour is so uncivilized, ihave my own and I see you have yours.

The point is that at least we do agree blacks are clearly a more violent, less intelligent and uncivilized group of people then all others, the reason why does not really matter.

 

No. But I am working on a hypothesis that the initials JB are associated with ignorance, poor manners, smugness, racism, twisted perception and a singular inability to look at a fact head on. I can't think of a single reason why I should feel insecure on this subject. I made a personal attack because I couldn't think of a single reason that you deserved anything else. Very few people are Black as very few are white; that doesn't change the fact that negros have signifacantly lower IQs than both asian and caucasians

 

Nor does it change the fact that IQ is only peripherally related to intelligence or the fact that IQ tests have a strong cultural bias. Put together I guess that's why I wind up with the number I do and why I am sensitive to attempts to draw more out of the alleged differences between races than is warranted.

I mean do people think it's just a coincidence that Africans were living in squalor and dieing of diseases that Europeans had long since cured when they first when to their continent? I don't think so. When Europeans first went to Africa they were just horrified at casual ease with which the natives murdered and dismembered each other, and their total lack of..well, civilization.

"IQ and the Wealth of Nations" is also a good book to read.

 

Significantly? Um...no. There are differences in the IQs of different groups of people, as we would expect. People seem to be afraid of acknowledging that there are differences. I find the differences interesting, especially the reasons of why the differences exist and how they came to be.

Generally, whites do score higher than blacks on tests. Yes it has unfortunately been written off as this or that, but that does more harm than good. Kids need to be tested as a whole and given help on a case by case basis. Some of you talk like all blacks and all whites perform at a certain level. Hate to shatter your perception of reality, but that isn't the case. There are genius white kids, genius black kids, genius asian kids. There are stupid white kids, there are stupid black kids, and there are stupid asian kids. The kids need to be tested and treated appropriately. As for the groups in general, no, their averages on tests do not show to be equal.

And no one has been able to develop an intelligence test which actually measures intelligence. Since you seem to hold such tests in high regard I guess I'll just have to adjust to being a genius.
