In general? That's the level of how securely a place is locked down, guarded.
Clearance is that you just wave a card more or less (buerocratic(sp)), level of security is to do more with brute force protection and safety. Like in prisons for example, more vicious criminals are locked down in level5 security sections while small theft is at level1 security.
At least that is how I get it.

or in other words: clearance is what allows you to pass security.
with level5 clearance you can pass level5 security

depends on where you are . . . my bio teacher showed us the 4 levels of biosecurity. The opening segment of the movie Outbreak features them.

is that a flaming question? since you are so pissed off at me?
you are meant to know what i am talking about through my expressive language ,my question was clearly lucid enough to ellucidate my own point,if it wasnt i am extremely sorry for that.

Are you especially pointing the question of levels toward top secret material and for the presidents eyes only, etc.?

You don't need any clearances when you already know the truth.

No, it wasn't a flaming question. It was a gentle way of saying "How the f'ing hell do you expect anyone to read your mind . Learn how to express yourself clearly if you want feedback."
I thought the way I chose to express this thought was much nicer, friendlier, non-hostile, unthreatening; almost warm and furry, in a delightful kind of way. I wasn't pissed off at you, I am not pissed off at you, I rather doubt I shall ever be pissed off at you. Merely puzzled as to why you should think I am.
I'm not sure if your third question is tongue in cheek. If so, I'll share a smile with you. If not, clearly your question was not clear enough. And there is no need to apologise since the only loser in such a situation was going to be you.
