Taken in Wales last year, near a rather nice waterfall. Unfortnately, my camera was rather temperamntal at the time, so I failed to take any pictures of it.

Whitewolf, I like the last one of yours with the park benches. What would have been cool was if you had walked up to the bench then carefully walked backwards in the same footprints so there were only prints in the snow leading up to the bench and no-one sitting there!

Thats ok, we can tell its nearby

Wow. That seems like odd construction techniques. I don't think I've ever seen two cranes on a job so close to one another.

They must be building that building very fast to require two cranes.

Brisbane has quite the skyline. Is it a boom economy down there?

To be honest, I have no idea, only lived in QLD about 6 months!

I'd driven 20 hours straight from Adelaide, came through the mountains just before sunrise and took the photos on the other side. All I know is I was on the Cunningham hwy.

Been to Toowoomba a couple of times, its nice... but a bit cold and too many cowboys!

South East Queensland is going ballistic! They're whackin up buildings everywhere. The worlds tallest (I think) residental address is being build down on the Gold coast (the Q1) and they're planning some pretty cool ones for Bris as well... I've lost count of how many are already under construction!

Once, when I was very little, my father had me on his shoulders. He gave me his camera to hold, but I dropped it and it was washed away in the sea.

    He never found it.

the only cool things there last time a visited were the animals that a mate of mine was rehabilitating, setting a lake on fire, and seeing how big i could grow a leech that stuck to me for 3 hours

I've noticed that every native animal down under is horribly stupid. I could exterminate the whole country with a stick and some rope.

You think woombi has cowboys, you'd hate it out west! And queensland just went through a massive property boom, so everything is on the up atm. The coast prices have hit sky high, and now the prices inland are rising.

It's a beautiful city. Brisbane is worth the effort to visit.

Nah, I haven't really got anything against country folk, I used to be one, they're generally good people, just somewhat sheltered.

I just think its funny how they all drive the same utes... with 4 'international sporting event' grade spotlights on the roof, 16 aerials hanging off it, Yosamite Sam "Back off!" mudflaps, a bullbar stolen off a Mack truck and the entire back window covered in "sheepshaggers ball" stickers...

There's an equation they teach you in school... 'The number of sisters a cowboy has is in inverse proportion to how frightened his sheep look.'
