I'm in Australia, and I heard about the shooting at about 4:00pm, and I was really shocked. I check the news every two or three hours, and it was just listed there with all the other headlines about how one of our politician's illigitimate children isn't his. What's the coverage like elsewhere? Also, reflections? I hate hearing about things like this, it just makes me think about how screwed up some people must be, and how screwed up the world is.

The most striking was that news channels such as CNN, FOX were all concentrated t Shiavo case and for them the shooting was something ordinary. They sucked big time.
they shouldn't concentrate on either. They should be fishing out stories that make us happy isntead of making us all cynics.
some of the posters seem pretty freaked out there dont they, as i would too, itf one of the posters at these forums was in the news doing what that kid had done in our paper also, we get the picture that he wore all black, and was a neo-nazi. when i realized he was Native American, and seeing his face, it is incongruous to me he'd hold views like that. After all it was his people who suffered genocide by the ones who invaded their lands. One of the posters at that site seems to conradict what the media is claiming about hjim being a nazi sympathizer......? one thing that struck me was how its said he word a 'tranchcoat' and was picked on. This is what i remember from the kids who did the Columbine school massacre. They too apparently wore trenchcoats--even when it was hot--and were picked on. what is it with trenchcoats? why do some of these kids wear them. anyone let me know? whats it all about? do the 'cradle of filth' wear them etc. what is the message being said wearing them? Obviously what the lad had gone through is beyond comprehension, his dad comtting suicide and his mum brain injured. REALy heavey. but even so doesn't justify what he did Maybe the ones he went looking for to shoot had been the ones who bullied him regardless of his personal problems, which further pushed him over the edge
