I am 36 now, I feel myself is not so old, my life just begins, some said men at 40+ has just begun their lives.
My life really started at 32... It is all relative. Some time ago you were supposed to die at 40. Obviously 36 would then be considered old. But now you are only halfway.
The irony is that you could die at any age. Your life isn't a carnival ride with a prepaid two minute span. It can suck and last a long/short time, be short and exhilirating like the drop of doom or if you've got the tenacity, be long and exciting. Remember that years pass faster than days, and age is just number that increases by one every 356.25 days. Happy Birthday :m:
I ponder that age question everyday. I am 19 and I already feel old. I've wasted so many opportunities in life. But I am fortunate enough to realize that there is so much to do in life, and so little time to do it all. Thus, I cherish every opportunity I can and give 100% effort to everything I do. It is never too late start a new life. Look alive.
whats imporant is bbbly giggly inner joy. really loving Nature......carrying on exploring learning....not what some fukin course teaches you, but your OWN deep interests...............Do what you wanna do. what do you want?...you have the power of choice happy birthday
just look around you, there is so much suffering in the world that if you arent trying to stop it then you might as well be old and die
Feeling old is a state of mind over matter, if you don't mind then it doesn't matter! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
My dad is 40, and he's not even got gray hairs. You're not old until you start getting gray hairs! So if you are starting to get them, you're old!!!!
Some people get gray hair in their teens. You're old when you think you're old. My theory is that we're all stuck at age 3 until we beget children; and then we suddenly turn old.
Let me see....You are 36 and using that avatar? No my simple friend, you are only physically over the hill. Your mind still enjoys the pleasures of oblivious youth.
...or perhaps 365 1/4 days? Seeing as everyone else is so upbeat about the rest of their lives, here's an interesting view: It has been shown that as people age, they experience time as passing more swiftly, to the extent that if you live to the age of 80, by the time you are 40, you have already experienced 71% of your life.
Nah. I should really go by the years that I'm dead. As in, before I was born. If we do that (Going by the Chrisitian idea that the Earth is only 5,000 years old), I am -4,993 years old (Because the Earth started in 3,000 BC and it is now 2,005 AD). Eh. Fuck it. No, that is not old. Most great writers aren't published until their early 30's.
oldER darlin, oldER and all you young thangs all fresh faces and bright eyed.....dont think you gonna have a romantic rock n roll death. YOUR heading the same ways we is. so watch OUT, herer it comes...haha
I agree, i think at 36 you still have a lot of things left to do. I know some people who are in their mid-forties, but still party and have fun like they were 20...
The big four O for me this year and probably about twenty left if the medication lives up to its reputation. Live for today and go screaming into the hereafter! All we really have is NOW! x x
