Wrong. Right. There are four brothers in a family. Each of them has one sister. How many total siblings are there in the family?
Right. Betty got up to get a sandwich with cheese. In doing so, she asked Bob to hold her hand. By the time she sat back down, people accused Bob of cheating. Both Betty and Bob are single. Why would they accuse him of cheating?
Right. Bob goes to meet an old fortune teller woman. She has a crystal ball, a pen, and a paper. The old woman says to Bob, “Let us make a bet. If I write down your exact correct weight on this paper, you must give me $200. If I do not, I will give you $200.” Bob thought that since there was no scale around, he could lie about his weight in the case the old woman was correct. Therefore, he accepted the bet. In the end, Bob lost the bet, and gave the old woman $200. Why so?
Right. There is a cylinder hole in the ground with a radius of 2FT, and a depth 4FT. If dirt weighs 0.25lbs. per cubic inch, how much dirt is in the hole?
Right. There is a room with no windows. The room is empty except there is a single bulb lamp on a desk inside the room. The lamp is currently off. You are standing outside the door to the room, and you cannot see anything inside the room. You see 3 on/off switches beside you. All three switches are in the off position. One of the switches turns the lamp in the room on and off. The door is not locked so you may open it at anytime. Once you open the door, you must go into the room without checking the switches. The door will close and lock. In order to escape, you must answer which switch controls the lamp. How will you be able to tell which is the correct switch?
turn on the left switch for a while then turn it off. turn on the middle switch and immediately go in the room. if it is on, it is the middle switch. if it is off and warm, it is the left switch. if it is off and cold, it is the right switch.
