Metaphysics doesn't have anything really significant to do with astronomy, although it would have something to do with cosmology. Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy that deals with the most general features of reality, such as existence, the nature of mind, the nature of things (e.g., are there really objects, or do we only think there are?), space, time, causality, and God.

An example of a metaphysical idea is Plato's idea of "forms," which says that corresponding to every thing there is a form in a special place like "another dimension"; and the mind accesses these forms in order to understand things. E.g., there is a chair form corresponding to all chairs, a dog form corresponding to all dogs, etc. Plato thought this was necessary because otherwise we couldn't conceive of chairs, dogs, etc., since the mind doesn't go touch the actual chairs and dogs. That doesn't sound so silly when you realize that he was thinking that physical interactions between things obviously do occur, but where is the interaction between mind and matter?

astronomy's bases are in phisics. methaphisics goes beyond that. not mattery stuff. There was this aristoteles bunch of books i think and this guy tryied, to organize it. he could clasify all of them but oe, and since all of the past book dealed with you real, tangible things, he called the other one methaphisics, beyond phisics. far as i know astronomy is a science quite tangible with real bases, and observable theorys and formulas. not much to do with methaphisics, in the science related field.
    good luck on your paper

Metaphysics is the study of our interaction with the Universe. In metaphysics, there is no observer and observed. In metaphysics, the Universe is within you and all around you.

Related with Astronomy... not in a direct form...
As Bagman said... it's more related to Cosmology...
