Those who would like to do this experiment...I would like to welcome them.

The premise is that we are in a 5 dimension universe where there are identical earths with slight variations, but the time flows the same. Assuming that is the case, you should be able to contact your otherselves, because you are linked at a quantum level.

The first step in contacting is to relax and wish to contact them in a dream state. Work on it every night until you see youself in the other world. The way to recognize is to see the differences in the dream that is slightly off. For example, you sold your car a few years ago, but you see the car in the dream, you may see a defferent design transporter, houses that are designed differently yet no such design exists on our earth and so on...

To accelarate the dream, I recommend a few drops of B12 under the tounge, just before sleep. Do post any positive results here. Let us see if the premise is valid.

Though we all dream, for the last year or so, I have noticed a pattern - may be because of my involvement with sciforums and thinking about all the possibilities. I am not sure, what to make of it. But as I read more about string theory and 4 dimensions in a 5 dimension universe, I wonder, if there is a relationship. If there is, then others will conform and research that, if it is just wishful thinking, no harm done.

So, that is why I ask our readers to participate in this experiment and see where it takes us. I was watching TLC yesterday about "remote viewing" experiments done by military and CIA. The group probably still exists. So, who knows?

I have dreamt cars that are different looking yet have similar functions. The house I live in now was bought from a family who got into gambling debt. In my dream, this house had additional rooms that has been expanded. What if, in another reality, the person spent the money to expand the house rather than gamble it away and later my counterpart bought it. Just possibilities. I have dreamt that this house ran from self generated electricity from a silent box (could be fuel cell) and so on.

I am keeping an open mind to see if there is something to it....

But how do you know they aren't dreams? That's the kicker, isn't it?

Plus I could just want to see my alternate self, and make up an image from my imagination.

But you know what's funny? This morning I thought to myself that an alternate self needed help, as he still lives in NYC and is a 'degenerate,' and that since I'm the goody two-shoes of all of the me's that I should find a way to help him. I never think about that type of thing. Wierd, huh?

I think I'll give it a shot tonight.

    KM,
    Great Thought...There is a problem though(I think)
But,I think the most difficult part is conciously dreaming.Even with wishful thinking,i have had a wish for a long time to be part of Morpheus group, yet Never i have dreamt anything like or clse to Morpheus Neo or anyone.
That conciousness in dreams was the most difficult part. And it is difficult because it(the dream world) matches our real world so closely, that we can hardly make the difference out while in the dream itself.May be if we start seeing all the things Green(you know what i mean

Zion I've 'lucid dreamed' a few times, the trick is trying to remember your dreams entirely and then committing them to memory, as well as having basic luck during the day and hoping that if you didn't remember a dream that something during the day will trigger the memory.

    It is quite the experience:bugeye:

I have not met my other-self. What happens is that you experience the alternate world from their senses. That is why, I think your mind is quantum entangled with your counterparts, yet you retain the experience of the other as information. Only information can travel through the entanglement. The more you become aware, the more your otherself become aware too. This will create a resonance and strengthen the communication. There is a possibility that while you are viewing the other world, your counterpart is viewing this world.

The next step will be to write something on a white board or on a large paper and focus on that so that your counter part sees it when he is in your body. Once both parties realize what is happening, a true communication might take place where you will really know that it is not just a dream. Some types of methodology need to be developed that is scientifically repeatable.

The benefit is to know the variations in the other worlds and find some new information that you gain which is not likely that you just dreamt it up. If that works, eventually, we should find a way to physically visit the world by moving through the 5th dimension.

    Imagine the possibilities...(and threats too...)

Kmuh I know this is totally off-topic but just who the hell is Alvin Toffler? The guy on your quote.

    Pollux V,

Toffler, author of Future Shock & The Third Wave.

How can you be so certain of what happens at the quantum level when quantum physicists freely admit that uncertainty rules activity at the quantum level?

"Should be able" and "might be able" are equivalent and denote probable certainty?

    Hi:

How may a few drops of B12 under the tongue accelerate a dream?, sorry I don't understand that.

I wonder if we can program ourselves somehow to solve problems that in the "awake state" elude us?

This may be off-topic: If I remember correctly, in the SciFi novel Timeline, Michael Crichton use this idea to send the characters to the 14th century feudal France.

Yeah, shaman I remember that book, he even had some pictures in the beginning that supposedly proved that alternate dimensions existed, at least on the subatomic level (I believe). I don't have a clue as to what B12 is but I really hope its not a hallucinogen because, then, well you can explain your little friends who have a gambling problem:bugeye:

Here's a question: Why are there only five dimensions and not an infinite amount? Why stop at five?

    To Clarify:

B12 is Vitamin B12 liquid you can get over the counter. Please do not abuse it. Like salt, if a little is good, a lot is not better. To know more about B12, you can google it... (Google is now an English word). B12 enhances REM sleep.

Why 5 dimensions? Darn, if I know. All I did was read and watch TV (PBS Nova and Discovery Channel) about how the universe could be like a book with many pages each containg an universe. Each page has a 3 dimensional property with the entire book being 4 dimensions. Add to the one-book time as dimension, you get total 5. For non-astrophysicists like me, it makes sense. Since each page is close to the other, all you have to do is jump through the 5th dimension to the other universe that is basically a clone of yours.

While the properties are basically the same like a cloned cat, there will be minor local variations due to the local chaos in each universe. So if you go there and kill your clone, nothing will happen to you (like killing your twin brother) except you may go to jail.

I have been talking to a friend who is an astro-physicist at a prestigious university. He said in about 5 years, this theory will be hot. Those who have and are participating now can proudly say "been there and done that". It is like ametuer astronomers finding planets or comets....

    Good luck.

    Mr G,

Although i dont disagree, but Principle of Uncertainity provides an escape outlet to other scientist who are lame enough not to fnd exact position of electrons etc...no wonder Einstein was unable to accept the Uncertainity principle.nothing is uncertain,we dont have resources yet...but thats a different issue altogether isnt ti?

    bye!

Another dream: A business friend is staying at a hotel named Starwood Hotel. I checked Google, all I found is Westin Group naming the company as Starwood but not the actual hotel....

    I wonder....

Maybe you could search for the hotel on hotels.com or the AAA website?

BTW is b12 an over-the-counter thing or what, will people look at me like I'm a drug addict if I purchase it or anything like that?

Ask for Vitamin B12 - sublingual ( can be liquid or a tiny pill to be used under the tounge. Available at any health food store, specifically the private ones (not the chain stores - some chain stores may carry).

since you are several light years away, you may not find the ambrosia....hehe....

why not have a nice cup of chamomile tea while you do a google search on ambrosia?

hmm, chamomile is a flowering plant native to earth too..
