...this just in - "Iraq and Al Qaeda - Selected slides from a 2002 briefing prepared by the Pentagon"

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10652305/site/newsweek/

Two pages of documented high level contacts from 1990 - 2002. Too bad much info. is redacted.

My prior links were not much more than "another dose of faulty pre-war intelligence"?????

That YOU don't believe any of this is not really surprising. I suppose that you and the rest of your amen corner would require something along the lines of Saddam's DNA on Osama's dick before you would admit to a connection.

    Pitiful.

    Barkhorn.

Yes that memo has been exposed as fraudulent :
Accordingly your Newsweek based source clearly says in this article
Further to add about this intel :
And since 2002 this claim has been debunked .
    Yes agreed .

Thank you, Brian. In the words of James Howard Kuntsler:

We used our superpower status to set up a centrally-located Middle East garrison in Iraq, under the idealistic cover story that we were removing a dangerous head-of-state and helping to set up a model democracy that would invite us to stick around the vicinity indefinitely, and thus retain some control over the deportment of other oil-rich states in the region.

Now that is what I like to read , blunt honesty , unfortunately some 2000 young Americans have died and the US economy is being bled dry affecting millions of Americans , is it worth it ?

  8. well it is what it is. the rest of the "intelligence" on iraq seems to have been totally wrong, why the hell would that be right? wake up. besides it seems our friend Brian Foley has successfully debunked your one pathetic shred of evidence that there could have been a meaningful link or cooperation between the iraqi government and al queda. thanks for responding to the rest of my post though. i'll assume you just didnt want to go there.
