This is so true!! Pzzaboy, even though I used pot alot, I always tried to use my brain, this is good. However if one starts to do harder drugs such as coke, heroine, acid, mushrooms, speed, downers, opioum, etc.

This is what I say will destroy your mind and most defenetly your goals in life, (been there, done that) I've tried them all, I know from first hand experience. The drug that kicked my ass, was Crack cocaine, after two weeks in rehab, I knew that I had to quit all drugs. My brains were been fryed, had fun? Yes, however I needed to survive, more than keep getting high all the time.

Many people, who have smoked marijuana, have ended up with lives that "went nowhere." Occupational hazard.

Marijuana can have the effect of causing the user to see the world in a different light than "normal people." I believe that it is because of this differing perception, that many strict marijuana users don't acheive greatness.

However, what the "normal" people may not realize, is that some of the marijuana users may not give a damn about wealth and power. That a deeper search of the human spirit is more important than the American Dream.

It is a pitfall with marijuana. Although marijuana is completely non-addictive, the user often finds himself seeking endlessly, truths about life that are normally, completely unacheivable by "normal" people.

Every person should be free to search out and find their own destiny. I have no desire to become a normal "tin soldier". I find it offensive that anyone should have the power to tell me that I cannot smoke marijuana, but alcohol is ok.

For the record: Alcohol is many times more harmful, and has destroyed more families and lives than any other drug, to say nothing of marijuana.

It seems everyone here is of the opinion that pot turns you into a looser....I firmly believe that if you are a looser you'll be one whether you smoke it or not. I smoke (ALOT) and I have a professional career, good education, a very healthy and happy mariage and I keep company with people in similar situations. Granted I've also known poeple that smoked with me and they are no-hopers sponging off the welfare system...no ambition etc But as I said I don't think Pot did that, all pot did is stopped them from having to deal with being fuck ups so they continue being fuck ups.
