      Ah! Mon Capitain!
Same to you! May it be a good and fruitful year for piracy and swashbuckling. Or whatever.
Or just good luck in not being molested by Enforcement Orbs. YIKES!

Well, not amusing exactly, but it shows the argument is not over yet.

Someone bought me a bottle of Glenffidich for Christmas.
Bladdy Scottish rubbish. It's loopy juice.
No wonder they are always fighting each other.
I now find I have insulted one of the mods, while in a drunken stupor.
I would delete it, but the thread is locked.

      I do like Reiku.
He just doesn't understand the idea of
      "Going under the Radar."
Sometimes you hold your head in your hand and think
What the hell is he doing?

Happy Christmas to Reiku and all his little socklets!
Cast out into the cruel snow on Christmas Day.

I wasn’t taking over. I was just curious. Get some rest.
      Happy Holidays!

I have often wondered why people got annoyed with your posts, but I can see now what the problem is.

You should have done the same here as you did there, and given the original author credit for his work.
If you had posted it as a discussion of Chang's ideas and posted a link to his original paper,
then people could have put it in context.
You could then have posted your own ideas about his ideas, and started a valid discussion.

It would have been more interesting for those who understand the mathematics,
and if you explained the gist of it in words, for people like myself who don't understand all those mysterious hieroglyphs,
I might have found it interesting too.

I once got caught up in the "liking" craze on sciforums.

    Old Photographs. Social History.

Real History, though I can't remember the details very well.
I am on my third watching of Simon Schama's series "History of Britain"
and am beginning to remember some of it.
