    1. We can in theory now communicate faster than light. (We can teleport protons via quantum entanglement)

    2. We can teleport atoms/matter AND light. Which means nuclear teleportation may be possible.

    3. Consider the fact, that we have quantum computers, with light based storage, that can transmit information across the universe INSTANTLY.

The implications are huge. It's as huge as the discovery of atomic energy. First, we have proven, as a fact that there is no distance on the quantum level.
So what exactly is distance? The proof, the fact, is the fact that if you can encode information into a proton, and through quantum entanglement, transmit that information anywhere in the universe, it's like discovering that all along, our idea of the universe is wrong, it's like discovering that the earth is really round like a ball, and that ball is made of liquid, and when you manipulate one side it manipulates something on the other side as if it's one and the same. They call this non locality I believe, but I think you get the point.

If we can communicate like this, it also means we'd be able to communicate with aliens, or even communicate throughout the entire universe as if time does not exist at all. We might be able to, with enough techncial skills and energy, teleport micro or nano bots from one planet to another, or from one solar system to another, etc. Currently we are not sophisticated enough with nano technology to do it, but it's possible.
