Is it ethical to grow/clone a new arm or leg for somone who needs them. (Assuming we only clone an arm and not an entire human)
What if someone desperately needs one and has no chance for a donor?

Yes. But how much of a human can we create?

If you managed to clone a brain & provide a life support system for it, I would consider it to have the rights of a normal human.

It only becomes a problem of ethics the closer to the mantle of Sacred Human Ego one gets. This is why AI and intelligence in animals are issues clotted with moral dilemmas and hypocrisy-- they're threats.

Seriously...I don't see why it would be unethical unless you are against animal testing.
