Green_world died here on sciforum on Jan 31, 2003 years since the birth of the prophet Jesus. He started his computer and a bomb place by (possibly) Cris exploded sending GW to only where Allah knows. I hope Cris and the others keeps track of GW’s IP address and keeps him in the land of 72 virgins (or 72 peaches according to some Muslim scholars)

Arguing against him was fun! Jerks have a purpose in this world: Make other people laugh!

 

Pretty much all the mods agreed to this action.

When nearly all threads where he participated disintegrated into primarily ad hominem attacks then that does not promote an environment for productive debate. It was not good for the Religion forum and was not a good example for sciforums.

While some undoubtedly enjoy the use of ad hominem it is the not an approach we want to endorse or encourage, and in fact we actively discourage it. While the behavior of others in their responses was also not attractive it was undoubtedly GW that was the catalyst for the chaos.

Despite many warnings and PMs we saw no progress and even received a threat to do worse if others did not stop first.

It was also a lot of work for the mods to keep investigating and responding to the many complaints.

Yes! But please do not abuse it.
If Green would not being banned and if he would have had forced me to do it, I was about to publish he’s total personal details. I was having second thoughts aware that there are others in this forum that get close to Green’s character and not manage that information intelligently.

The IP can be changed at will, the MAC or individuals PC’s ID in the internet can also be changed at will. So NO, there is no way to band forever and Yes the forever disappears the moment an individual logs in with a new name & email address.:m:
