How can you learn faith from your religion?
You have to have faith in the first place to have a religion. Right?

In 5th grade in Catholic school as a theist I got that it was phony.

Yea but that only works for brighter than average people.

A lot of other factors count as well. Exposure to other non believers and such. If you're surrounded by religiotards everywhere chances are that you will become one yourself bright or not.
