    Regarding your earlier posts, I agree with you that earlier books, c. 1900 -1950 are very interesting, particularly when it comses to speculative science, physics, cosmology, etc.

    I do not agree that any of then evidenced or confirmed ETL - it that's what you were saying.

    the interesting thing is the question does knowledge equate to existence?
    Cogito Ergo Sum
    "I think there for I am .."
    is the same as I have knowledge that I am thinking so therefore I exist.

    Existential perspective:
    The other thing is that one could suggest that if a question exists then so to does it's answer.
    The answer can only exist if there is a question, for with out the question no answer exists.

    so therefore,
    the question is in itself the answer.
    find the right question and you find the answer...

    Overview perspective:
    The reason we question about the existence of ET is because we can sense an answer waiting to be revealed/discovered.. IMO
