Yeah. But the question doesn't get asked vice-versa due to all the movies and Halloween episodes of TV shows that have been exported from North America for decades -- especially Jamie Lee Curtis's big break in 1978.

The 10 most haunted places have exactly the same number of ghosts as the 10 least haunted places.

I've always wanted to go to the Stanley Hotel, the inspiration for Steven King’s "The Shinning". I have a group of friends that I travel with, none of which are atheists, so I can’t convince any of them to go. They always say, why risk it?

Potential harm from a dead psychopath, I suppose.

    Heh heh.

Tell them to bring their crucifixes and they'll be fine. I realize that's problematic for a lot of religions, but they can still buy some protection at their local Catholic gift shop. For an extra donation they get the rosaries with the beads made from the pits taken from the Garden of Olives and blessed by the Pope. Hell, if they go with the deluxe package, they buy enough artillery to put Lucifer himself to work for them.

The only thing to fear out there right now are the damage of an unfortunate flood in Estes Park, followed by the closing of the park due to the shutdown.

It's not my place to say, but if if this conversation were taking place over a beer I would probably remind them that all of their wolves are stalking the Capitol in Republicans' clothing.

I didn't even know that it was closed.

    Thanks!
