I guess you completely missed the bolded part of what I said. It offers "no more explanatory power", so there is no reason to favor it. Ground state, true vacuum, zero-point energy, quantum fluctuations, and virtual particles are all nearly synonymous descriptions for the "least possible" of any physical quantity. It is no wonder that you do not care about where such phenomena comes from, since you do not even care where the big bang came from. Why comment at all if you simply do not care and are a committed agnostic on the subject of ultimate cause?

You are the one who brought up the BBT in this discussion. Now if you can explain why you did that, knowing that it did not address what was being discussed, maybe you can redeem yourself. If not, it seems the majority of your posts have been off-topic. When everyone else is talking about ultimate cause, you have to be exceedingly obtuse to repeatedly introduce something you should know has no bearing on the subject. So either you did not know what everyone else in this thread was talking about, or you did not know that the BBT had no bearing. We get it. You are a one-trick pony with the BBT. No wonder you seem to think it was relevant to this discussion. Have you ever thought about studying any QM, you know, just to round out your physics understanding? You do know that the majority of modern cosmology is primarily concerned with QM, right? So tell us already. Why exactly did you introduce the BBT?
